Eculc, you should have blocked me from the black line, not red and green.

Wow, I didn't really think I would be able to do it... I guess you guys were to worried about each other that you didn't think someone who had played 2 stations could be any trouble.
Behold the Scholar's Crescent.

By use of the intermediate station rule, Mornington Crescent

That was badass Lorenz! Not only did you win, you refuted Dr. Diaphanous's de Kemmeter!! I never thought I'd see someone doing that, eculc should have blocked each of us for 1 turn instead of blocking me for 2.

Congrats!

well, blocking you for two was the only way to also cut off lorenz from red and green. I was expecting him to go for a roundabout shift and then a shunt over to London Bridge, so cutting him off would have stopped that.

Clearly, though, I was incorrect.
Um, this post feels devoid of content. Good luck?
For comparison, that means that if the cabbage guy from Avatar: The Last Airbender filled up his cart with lettuce instead, it would be about a quarter of a lethal dose.

I could also have blocked a Scholar's Crescent instead of resting, I got so many tired tokens that I thought doing that while I was blocked from orange/blue lines was appropriate. I guess I only cared about winning and forgot the second most important part of the game: not losing.

New game! Bollocks MC version 2.7a(b)!

Pansies, azaleas, crysanthemums and cherry blossoms are wild.

Turtles are forbidden, as are snails and racoons. However, possums and squirrels are fair play. No aces.

Lets see how you lot fair at one of the wackier versions of MC!

I'll start with Kensington (Olympia).

2.7a(b)? Does tend to drag on a bit, but then again we seem to be getting through the games very quickly at the moment...

Starting on Vauxhall, allowing me to shuffle the pansies.

Well, I have only ever seen this version being played. I have never played it myself.
I shall use an opening I saw that Mrs. Trellis used at the 1987 championship.

I'll pass, Bollocks MC is way too wacky for my taste (in all their versions), just like Buttocks MC, Who Who Dilly MC, and (ugh) Moobs MC... I'd rather stay away, good luck everyone!

Ahhh... thread necromancy...

Necromantic shift to Burnt Oak. I use the necromantic powers unleashed to heal the Oak, turning it into Healthy Oak. I gain two black tokens and two white tokens, and a balance coin.

Billy Bob shunt with a banana sundae token and a fudgesicle to :drumroll: Dollis Hill. There's no loops in Bollocks MC.

Lol, an Arwkright Manoeuvre. That's Bollocks for you I guess.

I'm disappointed that no one took the bite with my banana sundae token. (get it, bite? Ha - ha ha - ha...)

A hoppy skip shunt to Camden Town. MC in 5, although I now have to drink a beer every turn (because of the "hop" in hoppy). This could get bad since I don't drink.

Ok I'm pretty new to this ruleset. Would taking Dollis Hill be a legal move?

Sure, but it would restrict you to take only class-5b moves for the next 2 turns.

I can finally reach London, via Amersham, which is clearly the best possible move in position (being that it's the only legal move).

Make sure you bold your assembly names, as well as your factory names or risk being forced to wear the hat. There's no shame, we've all had to wear it, but you /really/ don't want to wear it in Bollocks MC.

For the record, (it's not my turn so I won't move) this is one of the longer BMC games I've run into, in terms of time spent waiting on other people to take turns. We're approaching Lord Shephardsfield levels of length here.

I've never worn the hat :)

*Poses.*

One of the benefits of avoiding BMC and picking my games carefully.

Mishrak wrote:We're approaching Lord Shephardsfield levels of length here.

Oh, yes! While I'm not playing I've been following the game closely. I think it's nearing the point to set a Length Record for longest MC of the Nonsensical kind, and not just BMC, which would make the winner earn a double win (and it's no surprise people would want to slow down the game to reach that point; it's always fun to make history in a MC game.)

Although I agree that this game has taken quite a long time. It is nowhere near the length of the infamous long-prolonged radio hosted MC back in 1992. If you really want to even have a chance to make it as long, someone should really make a move to BLOCK all single digit stations, before orangedragonfire makes MC.
It is of course, not my turn.

Since that game wasn't from the Nonsensical kind, I think we can pretend it doesn't exist, nevertheless.

Ah, it seems what you need is a new player that hasn't made any move this round, my move is obvious (literally):

Nightton Crescent

I'm put on Time Reverse so I'll soon manage to go for Twilightton Crescent instead of Dawnton Crescent, but at least this should block ODF nicely.

I'm not sure that's going to be enough. ODF can claim Midsummerseveton Crescent or Duskton Crescent very handily and wrap this up. Almost at will.

After reading a little more of Bollocks MC: "WTF Have you done sir?" by Walton Abignale I have come to the conclusion that I can actually make a move. However, it requires me to have a black light and I don't anymore. Arggggggg.

That would be the standard play. But Vytron can shift Nightton Cresent into an embargo zone, which would leave me stuck on either of those. So, instead, I'm going to go for

Mornington Decline.
