Random Integer Generator
Ask here for a random integer in a given integer range. Next poster supplies that number.
Other rules:
* Let's keep things in base 10 here guys.
* Remember that some people are literal and if you say something between X and Y, you wont get X or Y.
* Sure, go ahead and make the number really huge ... (in font size).
* If you want, explain how you generated the number in a spoiler tag.
I would like a integer in the range of 1 to 6 please.

5. May not be random enough for cryptographic purposes.
I need a number between 3 and 249 (inclusive). It can't be 117. It will be used for an IP address.

Wolfram Alpha doesn't give any meaningful answer, so I'll assume you meant 65536.
The number is...
4242.
Heh.
I'd like a number between 3 and 3. It can't be 3, too.

If the gen number is even, divide it by 2.
If odd, multiply it by 3 and add 1.

38 created by blindly hitting numeric pad until I got a number in range.

I would like a number in the range of [11,000,000], inclusive of course!

Re: Random Integer Generator
381
I tried to type randomly, but that doesn't work very well on a row numbers. I went for 4 digits for no reason, got 6905. Then I went to random.org (first Google result for "random number generator"), searched from 51751 (I have now realized that I was being stupid and should have set the upper boundary as 749), and got 713. The average of those two numbers is 3809. I then divided that by 10, also for no reason, and rounded to the nearest integer, 381 (I know rounding is evil, but I had wasted enough time already on that number).
I'd like an integer. No boundaries, except that it must be an integer.
Also, isn't this thread called the Random Integer Generator? Imaginary numbers shouldn't count, right?

Re: Random Integer Generator
Because that's bewildering, I'm going to assume you meant inclusive and say 0.
pick an integer from between the 32nd and 58th decimal place of phi.
Not to mention Xv8M4g3r's floating point number.
EDIT: oops, I fail. no zero. If someone else wants to try that...

(Reanswer as requested by nbonaparte) A number between 0 and black hole, excluding 0 and the black hole? I choose...the LHC! Well, its CMS detector, anyway.
By the way, that would correspond to an integer of about 9,000.
As for nbonaparte's question, 7 should do nicely.
Oh yeah, forgot to ask for one.
I want an integer that's one.

57. amiright?
I want an integer which is a sequence of digits in an irrational constant such as π or e or φ. Must be at least 3 digits, but no more than 17, and cannot include 6 as a digit.
