Well, Black's lost a piece, but it doesn't have to be a rook. Bb4, white to play.

After Bxb4, I thought about Qxb2 but then white plays Bc3 again and black is still screwed. So maybe black could follow it up with something like Qb5. (Wait, no, Qb5 is no good because then white plays Nd6+ and wins the queen)

EDIT: Maybe if Black castles kingside he can salvage his position.

I'm thinking QxN for black next move. I've looked at a lot of options, and I don't see anything better. This eventually leads to black loosing a rook, but black can trap and quickly capture the bishop as a result.

I've always been a fan of artistic playing. Chess gets so boring and dull without it.

Nf6+

Next move for White is Qxc6, of course.

I was thinking about Nd6+ (followed by either king moves away, then Qxc6, or by Qxd6 Bxd6 Bxf3) but I didn't like the doubled pawns on F that white gets in the latter option. And also black could respond by going Kd7, which both protects his bishop and adds another attacker to the knight, so white'll have to move the queen away, and playing Nf6+ blocks off Kd7. So I played it safe.

Aha this is even nastier than I thought. Let's consider Black's options:

..Nxf6
Qxc6+

Here, black could play Nd7 to block, at which point White could grab the rook on a8 (to which black should respond with Nb8 if he wants to live, then white plays Bc3 and wins the other rook), or bring the rook in to d1 for a very immediate threat on the knight which I don't think is as good.

If black played Kd7 here, then white checks with the rook on d1, and black'll have to block with the queen (as Nd7 gives Qxd7#) (probably block with Qd5 if he's sensible at all, then we get Rxd5+ exd5 Qxa8+ King moves and white nabs the other rook, and white's up a queen and a rook.

And then of course the stupider option:

... Qxf6
Qxc6 Kd7
O-O-O#

(there's also Kd7 but I don't have time; have to go to school, will edit this post later)

Hmmm. Black could feasibly respond with Kd8 here. Rd1+, then Nd5 to block it, then Qxa8+ Kd7 and the h8 rook is protected by the queen. I suppose then white could play Bc3 or Qxa7. Black drops a rook and possibly a pawn.

The other possibility is Nd7 Qxa8+. Black could go Nb8 to block, but then Bc3 loses the other rook, so I think Qb8 would be better for Black. Black also drops a rook this way, and is forced to trade queens or lose the other rook.

At this point we're just trying to minimize Black's loss. Ideally, white would like to prevent Black from castling kingside.

I'm gonna go ahead and revive this with Nd7 (white to move), as I just realized Kd8 can also lose both rooks - Qxa8+ and black has to move away, letting white do Qxh8 as well. This move has the black queen protecting the h8 rook. If white plays Bc3, Black could do Qxc3+, and lose a queen for a bishop, but has time to save both rooks, so he's only down five (or six, depending how you score material) extra points.

Now Black is screwed, about to get mated, hanging a rook, and asking for his queen and other rook to get skewered by Bc3. Castling kingside will save both of those rooks at the expense of the knight, and also eliminate the mate threat for now. That's probably the best option.

Would've castled but didn't realize you can't, as you said in irc, castle through the bishop threat.
