Granted, your job has changed to being a taster for tasteless poisons. "Well, I didn't taste anything that time....*collapses, foaming at the mouth*"

I...wish.....actually I mostly just like the corrupting wishes, not the wishing. That takes way too much creativity.

Seeing as how you didn't wish, I'm gonna corrupt your feeling. You now no longer like corrupting wishes or making wishes, but you are now forced to corrupt a wish and make one every minute.

I wish I wasn't as much of a cold-hearted bastard as I am.

Granted. Your home sinks into a previously undiscovered sinkhole and you are forced to live at your job. Next to the fax machine.

I wish lovebugs did not exist. The are annoying and nothing seems to eat them. They clog stuff and just fly around having their sex.

Granted. You don't realize, though, how much your (insert one:girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/crush) liked the lovebugs. They commit suicide. It was all your fault.

I wish I could be in multiple places at once (marching band/other stuff).

Granted. You get your multiple selves mixed up in a moment of passion, wink at your marching band director and tell him to get back to bed.

I wish I'd done something this weekend.
One of these days my desk is going to collapse in the middle and all its weight will come down on my knee and tear my new fake ACL. It could be tomorrow. This is my concern.

Granted. Now nobody will talk to you because you insist on explaining it in great detail about, oh, once every five minutes.

I wish my friends would call first before showing up at my house to get me to come do stuff.

Granted, but it shines so brightly that you get skin cancer, and you die alone.

I wish I had a pet Zebra.

Granted. But your pet zebra dies, and, in a moment of passionate lament, you commit suicide in the most excruciatingly painful manner you can imagine.

I wish there were more nerdy girls at my school that I could date. I know all of them as friends (there aren't that many) and it feels wierd if I think about asking any of them out...

Granted. Instead, you find them in your bathroom.

I wish I could detect the location of any object I choose.
So, I got tired of the fact that the appearance of my band name in my signature made my posts on this forum the dominant result when googling for my music. Anyway, if you think I might happen to be a good musician, you can test this theory here.

Granted - you get the tracking device. Unfortunately, you only get your choice once, so that means you can only track one object. Even that wouldn't be so bad except that you misplaced it and the first thing you thought to choose was it - so now you have a tracker that tracks itself. Nice.

I wish that I could mentally put myself into any situational puzzle (to make it easier to see the trick).

To the above: granted.
Your first puzzle: There are three mobsters with guns. One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one lies and tells the truth each 50% of the time, but you don't know which is which.
All mobsters look alike.
You are allowed no questions. Guess which one is which or they shoot you.

I wish I felt good.

I wish that the poster below me would not use the word "granted" in their next post.

Sure, I won't say that word. But then later there is a revenge wish that you be completely unable to speak.

granted, but they are the only thing that shows up in your mind. ever. meaning you are effectively blind and deaf, have olfactory and tactile deficiencies, and can't taste anything, either.

I wish that people wouldn't look at me wierd when I follow rules for walking on sidewalks and tile floors. I'm doing my part to prevent the world from falling apart, so they should just get on with their own lives.
