Erm, I think he's in Tennessee (which is spelled wrong on the map), not W Virginia. Not sure about a next question...

Alright!

Mr. Lemonjello, I must disagree and ask instead:

Does the name of the county you are in begin with a letter from A to M?

I disagree. If you haven't noticed, most of them are in A-M The median is actually between J-K

Therefore:
Does the name of the county begin with a letter from A-K?

I was about to get really annoyed, because I just spent quite a bit of time doing the exact same thing, but then I noticed that you missed about half of the L-Z counties. Here's my superior map:

Does the name of the county begin with a letter from A-D?

The answer to this should eliminate approx half of the counties he could be in.

Thoughts?

Man, do you ever look back on these kinds of games and think to yourself, "What if at the beginning I had randomly asked if he was in the western part of Kentucky, in a county starting with one of the letters from A-K? That would have been so awesome!" Unfortunately, the agree/disagree rule would have cut that out, but it didn't keep me from having one of those moments.

Yes, I do.

Also, I agree.

Also, I have a sneaking suspicion it may be in Davidson if CW answers 'yes', because of the location of the state capital being in that county.

But what if it's some small suburb that's not really on the map? It's gonna be real fun when we get down to pinning down a specific street and address if it's a suburb in a no-name town on the outskirts of the city.

random thinking. With the first question being are you in the USA?- YES. and with 19 other questions with no infomation from the picture we get....

USA is 9,161,923 SQ KM big

9,161,923 SQ KM / (2^19) = 4.1 SQ KM

Factor in that we know he is in a town or city this should be easy. If we keep cutting asking questions the split the urban area in 1/2. we should get the area down to a size we an do a google map search by eye.

This has already been agreed on many times. If there are any objections, state them. If not, then, well, where is CaptainWalrus? We need to get him/her over here to answer our question.

Are you in a county that starts with H?

No.
I am sorry to inform you, but you are very off. Look just back over the list of questions on the first post, and you will find that they might not be exactly what you think they mean to you. This is the first time doing it here, so I expected it, but where I have don't this before, they have learned to ask very specifically worded questions.
