0. Treaty of Stralsund (1370)
1. Denmark
2. World War I
3. World War II
4. Adolf Hitler
5. World War I
6. Treaty of Versailles
7. Peace Treaty
8. List of Treaties
9. Treaty of Stralsund
10. Treaty of Stralsund (1370)

Phew!!

Note that Treaty of Stralsund is a disambiguation page, but the link in the article List of Treaties was referring to the article Treaty of Stralsund (1370) so I fixed that after I completed my round trip. =·)

Wonder if there's a shorter round trip for this one. Anyone up for the challenge? (Ignoring of course the edit I made, so shorter than 9 steps)

1. Hanseatic League
2. Adolf Hitler (oh yes)
3. Germany
4. Hanseatic league
5. Treaty of Stralsund (1370)

A few random articles later, I ended up with Dura Convertible Systems (Automobile, Germany, Hitler), but this article had the text
This article is an orphan, as few or no other articles link to it.

I could indeed not find any article linking to it, which does make it hard to make round trip...

Another one of I am proud, although I can imagine further improvements:
0.Darryl Richley
1. Supreme court of the US
2. Franklin D. Roosevelt
3. Adolf Hitler
4. Karl Brandt (his doctor)
5. Executions by the United States Nuremberg Military Tribunals
6. 20th-century executions by the United States
7. Darryl Richley

How about this:

1. Eugenics
2. Darwin's Origin of Species
3. Evidence of common descent
4. Peppered moth evolution...

Nevermind. I hadn't counted the actual steps, and that is actually one longer than yours xD

Eugenics was a good find, we can cut one step like this:
1.Eugenics
2.Natural selection
3.Peppered moth
4. etc

I suspect that every path to Lamprocabera has to go through Geomitridae, so then there is just not much to do. Unless someone finds a short route from Hitler directly to Geomitridae. Perhaps there was famous nazi who collected butterflies?

That artificial result is an error. The link from Indo-Greeks to Patalene is supposed to link to a region called Patalene, not to the list of Geometrids. In fact, even if it was supposed to be pointing to the moth species, it should have pointed directly to the article on the Patalene moth, not to the list.

Using an erroneous link that you found yourself might still be in the spirit of the game, but not this.

My first attempt at a round trip:
0: Ffun --- the song was a number one hit in 1978
1: Earth, Wind & Fire
2: Music of Africa
3: Western Europe
4: Germany
5: Adolf Hitler --- Difficult at this point, since I couldn't find any links to years in his article.
6: German federal election, March 1933
7: European Parliament election, 1979 (West Germany)
8: 1979 --- At this point it would have taken me several more clicks, but I made a lucky find.
9: Earth, Wind & Fire
10: Serpentine Fire
11: Ffun
Only one in over the limit. Time for my second attempt...

EDIT: My fifth attempt got it in seven!
0: Hairy hands
1: United Kingdom
2: Winston Churchill
3: Adolf Hitler
4: United Kingdom
5: Cornwall
6: Dartmoor
7: Hairy hands

Some strategy advice for you:
USA is two clicks away from Hitler, via World War II.
Germany is of course one click away.
Finding a year on your way back is damn near impossible.
Navigating by categories takes far more clicks than you think it will, so don't try it.

This would be so much better with Kevin Bacon. Or maybe people should have a "Hitler Number".

Strategy: Work backwards. Hitler is easy to get to from "Germany" or any similar. You can get there from any other country. A person's profile will always link to the country they were born in. So, in priority:

Click "Hitler".
Click "Germany".
Click country name.
Click persons name.

If you can't find any of those click "Random Article" again :P
