Anagram of RANDALL MUNROE

Postby Chalk » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:38 am UTC

Hi all,

So I'm a crossword maker, and I do like a good anagram. I saw the name Randall Munroe and thought to myself, I bet there's a decent anagram amongst those characters. Turns out there is:

RANDALL MUNROE = LOL! UR A NERD, MAN

Sums him up perfectly, don't you think? Randall seems like the type to enjoy a good bit of wordplay, so i hope he sees this.

In the meantime, i thought this would be a good point to ask if anyone else has a fave anagram.

That one had me in stitches. I wish i was half decent at finding anagrams.

Next challenge: find an anagram of "xkcd".

Code: Select all

enum ಠ_ಠ {°□°╰=1, °Д°╰, ಠ益ಠ╰};
void ┻━┻︵╰(ಠ_ಠ ⚠) {exit((int)⚠);}
[he/him/his]

Nah, I think it would be much more amusing to either keep arbitrarily anagamising "Randall Munroe"... or the previous poster's name.

I had this posted erroneously in Linguistics/Language earlier, and some people were coming up with anagrams of their own names. It can spoil the shroud of anonymity, though, if you have a common name.

So, is this thread for posting our favorite anagrams, or making anagrams of our names, or of the previous poster's name as WarDaft suggested (which would probably be more in the spirit of most Forum Games, but no one said Forum Games had to be that way), or what?

Guys you should totally register for this and join the xkcd team! Rath358 started us off and we're kinda small so the more people who join us, the better for our team and, hopefully, for humanity!
