It appears getting into prison makes you lose all your coins...

kevmus is given the title Scribe and now has 10 Gold Coins.
coolguy5678 is now the Councilor and now has 15 Gold Coins.
KrazyerKate has 8 Gold Coins.
brakos82 is the Jester and is in Prison.
kaimason1 has 10 Gold Coins.
BurningLed has 8 Gold Coins.
oagersnap has 10 Gold Coins.
eggdudeguy is the Blacksmith and has 12 Gold Coins.
NecklaceOfShadow now has 10 Gold Coins.

Mao laughs at NecklaceOfShadow.
Mao frowns at KrazyerKate and fines her 2 Gold Coins.

BurningLed has initiated a vote on brakos82, (two votes).

coolguy5678 has guessed part of a rule and gains 5 Gold Coins.

Rules:

#10 [censored] All citizens in prison lose all their gold.

Hello there,

It seems to me that double posting costs a gold coin for each post after the first

It would also seem your first post you earn 10 coins and if you disgust the mao you go to prison. You get Jester for referencing xkcd and you get Blacksmith for asking for coins. I gift all my coins to the mao.

You also get councilor and 5 gold coins for being first to find out a rule, scribe for quoting, the mao laughs at you for ridiculing yourself, frowns at you for multiposting, and you play coins on someone to initiate a vote on them (the more coins, the more votes).

I play 1 coin on brakos82.

I steal 3 coins from krazyerkate.

Mao warns BurningLed not to annoy him by attempting to steal gold from other citizens.

...Might not have been such a good idea.

I play the Dark Magician Girl.

Hmm... since this is both Mao and Nomic, I'm going to try something.

Suggestion: Suggestion Test
All players with at least one gold coin are given 1 gold coin.

(For those of you unfamiliar: Post "Vote Yea on Suggestion Test" to vote for this and "Vote Nay on Suggestion Test" to vote against it. Of course, I doubt this'll do anything.)

EDIT: I vote against brakos82. Somehow I think it's not as simple as this, but it's worth trying. I'm trying to vote against as what if we're voting for the next Mao? Then brakos would win, and that would be lame. This isn't likely but I'm not taking any chances.

EDIT2: You gain 5 gold gains for guessing part of a rule. (kaimason1's guess is only on the first person to guess a rule)

Vote Yea on Suggestion Test

Vote for brakos82.

Vote for eggdudeguy.

Also, if at all possible, I would really like 10 coins.

Again, here's a cute picture to prove my worth:

kevmus is the Scribe and now has 10 Gold Coins.
coolguy5678 is now the Councilor and now has 19 Gold Coins.
KrazyerKate has 8 Gold Coins.
brakos82 is the Jester and is in Prison.

NecklaceOfShadow now has 10 Gold Coins.
thebursar now has 15 Gold Coins.
skellious now has 15 Gold Coins.
Phrozt now has 15 Gold Coins.

Mao wins the election.

kaimason1 has been imprisoned for attempting to steal Gold Coins (which is too bad because he had so many...)
coolguy5678 suggestion fails because it lacks a number.

Rules:

#5 On their first post, a citizen gets 10 gold coins.
#8 A citizen may be imprisoned for annoying the Mao.
#10 [censored] All citizens in prison lose all their gold.
#13 Double posting is annoying. Double posting is taxed 1 Gold Coin. [censored]
#17 The first player to quote will be given the title Scribe.
#18 [censored] Partial guesses will gain 5 gold coins.

Rule #11 Proposal: The list of coin totals are to be reordered into a ranking system, with the person who has the most coins listed first, and then the list continues down in descending order of coins.

Yea or Nay?

Rule guess: The first person to say something funny is given the title Jester.

Rule guess: Playing two coins on a user starts a vote on that user.

Rule guess: A Nomic Proposal must have a number in it in order to be voted upon.

Rule guess: This game is also a Nomic, and users may propose new rules which may be voted upon by other users.
