Re: Longest Time As The Last Post - Weekly Edition (Week 1)

Postby sellyme » Tue Jul 20, 2010 7:41 am UTC

Give me half an hour to update the OP and all that please.

WEEK ONE END LEADERBOARD
1. sellyme: 56:14
2. oagersnap: 40:59 (-15:15)
3. eggdudeguy: 27:22 (-13:37)
4. chridd: 26:47 (-00:35)
5. Phrozt 16:57 (-09:50)
6. Kromix 1:37 (-15:20)
7. Sruixan: 1:22 (-00:15)
8. 09Kisame09 0:50 (-00:32)

Well, this week was a tight first week, with sellyme and oagersnap charging up the leaderboard. In the first 2 days sellyme got a lead near the end of the day, but oagersnap pulled away during the night. However, by night 3 sellyme had attained a 6 hour advantage, but by some miracle oagersnap managed to get a mammoth 11 hours 34 minutes out of a possible 12 hours. However, while sellyme was at his mother's house he managed to get an internet connection, and held his position in front for a bit longer. While all this was happening, eggdudeguy had managed to pull a 15 hour lead on his nearest opponent, and seemed secure for third, and stopped chcking regularly when he couldn't get 2nd any more. However, this gave chridd an opportunity...

Sellyme then got home, and while oagersnap was away he got about 15 hours up. At the same time, knowing he was safe even with school starting up again, he gave chridd a reasonable amount of time, to provide a battle for 3rd. With leaderboards sparse, eggdudeguy didn't know how close chridd was, and when chridd got a 6 hour lead early in the last day, all looked lost. However, without sellyme dominating the Asia/Australia day timezones because of school, eggdudeguy managed to pull a 4 hour post, and then a 3 hour, getting a lead over chridd to take 3rd by less than an hour. Sellyme did end up winning the week, with a mammoth 15 hour lead unassailable by the start of the last day, and oagersnap didn't even show up to get a few consolidation hours.

Lower down in the leaderboard it was a mere 15 minutes between 6th place and the unlucky 7th and lower who got no points, and you get the feeling that had either of the bottom two posted once more, they might have edged Kromix out of a scoring position.

Current Points Leaderboard
sellyme: 10
oagersnap: 6
eggdudeguy: 4
chridd: 3
Phrozt: 2
Kromix: 1

By winning Week 1 of this forum game, sellyme has been inducted into the Hall of Fame
