Pangrams

Postby Max2009 » Sun Oct 03, 2010 4:10 pm UTC

Pangram: n. A sentence that contains every letter of the alphabet, such as "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" in English.

We must post a pangram (or a panagram, however you would like to call it).
I'll start.

Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs.

"The five boxing wizards jump quickly" is my favourite.

"Cwm fjord bank glyphs vext quiz" is the shortest one that makes sense.

Why does vext fit in that sentence? Everything else makes sense. Anyway...:

Kyrgyzstan has banjo-playing quadrupeds (oxen, mostly) in various wacky films.

Yep, just made that up off the top of my head.

"Cwm fjord bank glyphs vext quiz" means that "carved symbols in a mountain hollow on the bank of an inlet irritated an eccentric person". I got that one, along with many, many others at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pangrams

Talking pink zebras mixed Quaker Oats with cherry-flavored jam.

...That was harder than I thought it would be.

Why, Roband, you just gave an example of utilizing sketchy techniques.

Jeez, how difficult and quirky it would be, talking exclusively in pangrams.

I'm betting you jazzy folks could conquer the challenge exceptionally, however.

Wouldn't such exclusivity just make it difficult for quixotic panagrams to look like natural responses?

I realize the possibility of just seeming contrived, but we'll quickly fix that.

I can see exactly how frazzled people get just trying to make panagramic conversation be quite normal.

The extremely zesty vernacular of panagrams brings delightfully quirky and whimsical jubilation.

I've noticed that people on this forum are quite inclined to take joy in exceptionally bizarre ways of talking.
