I just slept through my entire sociology class... Yet I somehow managed to take semi-legible notes? I suppose I've done weirder things in my sleep...

Ha, that's nothing. I once in a physics class wrote what looked like complete gibberish. I was gonna throw it out when my friend noticed that it was the complete set of Maxwell's equations for materials (not in a vacuum). How weird is that?

I'll add the blog to the description.

My school's haveng "Twin/dynamic duo" day for homecoming. I'm tempted to bring along Not-Kevin as my twin.

Hey Guys! Speaking of school insanity, I'm going to hell for a while. School trip, three days and two nights in upstate NY with no wifi or cellular service. I mean I a lot of the kids in my school but 53.5 hours straight with them isn't my idea of a good time...

Now I must go pack etc, farewell to you all!

So, guess who's the smartest kid on the block?
I decided to iron out a jacket I'm wearing tomorrow to a debate. I tried the jacket on to see if I missed any spots. I did, on my shoulder.
Guess who proceed to iron out the crease while still wearing the jacket?

I finally made space in my room! I cleared a ton of shit off a desk and moved a better chair down here. Now it's more a matter of not procrastinating... I have all the work right in front of me here, but I also have the internet. Internet >> homework.

Lawl. That sounds like something I'd do Barbara. I once ironed money in my lap because I didn't want the iron to get too close to the computer on my desk. Why I didn't think to use the ironing board just outside my door? No idea. There was a lot of money too x.X

*hugs for all* So I'm supposed to go get my friend and head off for coffee in a half hour before school.. only she dropped her phone in teh toilet last night while I was asleep.. So I have no way of knowing whether she's awake or not.. *sighs* I don't know why I love my friends sometimes.. XD

it's just been a shitty month for me. I've gotten lost in both my Logic and Program Design class, and in my Database Management and SQL class. I don't know Java code, so that makes it next to impossible for me to do homework for that class, and I don't know how to save SQL files. I could really use a hug right about now.

Matt, the idea is to put it in first. Then release the brake and then slowly release the clutch until you feel it engage the engine. That's when you'll start coasting forward. Step on the gas and go.

It's the engaging the engine part that gets me. I think I'm hittin the gas too fast.

Well, a good rule of thumb is to not engage the engine until the car is already rolling forward on the clutch alone. I mean, you can coast at about 3 km/h on the clutch. That's when you hit the gas and finish releasing the clutch.

Carlington (The Aussie) wrote:As an aside, what are you studying at the moment on maths and physics?

Math is an AP calculus class. So far we've done concavity, limits at infinity, and some summary section dealing with how to graph using derivatives and stuff instead of just plotting points. It's not that hard, I just have lots of homework and since he doesn't collect it everyday, it takes a back seat to other classes and then I get behind.

Physics is even easier, it's just simple motion problems (ie. I throw a ball straight up from a height of 50 feet and with an initial velocity of 5 m/s. How long does it take to hit the ground?). This is taught by the same guy, so the above still applies.

He's collecting some math tomorrow so I have to do about 3 days of homework today, and then I'm still behind 2 days. But then it's the weekend. So hopefully I'll be all caught up by monday.

o.o Well hello there Sean.

Spoiler'd for long rambley-ness with little importance.
Spoiler:
I'm so freaking worn out all the time now >.< I keep needing to work late because one of the servers is a fail at life. School is sucking out my soul. There's stupid drama I'd rather not be part of going on with homecoming, to the point I considered just not even going, despite the considerable amounts of money I've already spent. My banking is screwed up to the extreme; it's randomly getting rid of things I spent money on and saying I have over a hundred dollars more than I should. And I'm getting picked on by freaking freshmen at school >.< I hate everything sometimes.

On a less ranty note. Next week is homecoming week! Meaning nearly all of my classes will be just blow off classes for the week. I only need to work two nights. And huzzah for fireworks and togas and chinese food and flowers and dances and half time shows I'll get to watch and all that nifty fun stuff ^.^ AND I got to spend my night tonight not working, but running about getting coffee and ice cream and watching a soccer game [we completely slaughtered the other team! 9-0!] and just. Yay. That helped me de-stress a lot and put me in a more mellow mood. And ever better!!! I gets to go apple picking Sunday :3 and then bake apple pies. I'm excited ^.^

*hugs for all* Sorry for the random long-winded ramble ^.^; I'll spoiler it so you don't need to read it.

I marched around the football field for 3 hours today. Woo marching band. All this to play in a game that we might get rained out of. At least we got to see the freshmen today! They're so adorable!

I haven't actually done anything for homecoming this week. I'm kinda lame like that. I don't have any friends who would join me and get into it. Maybe that's the secret to conquering my social awkwardness! Maybe being "out of the closet" could help. Bottling up stuff like that doesn't exactly help. Stupid closet. It's dark and un-sexy in here.

*hugs Toni* Don't worry. School always screws life up like that, especially around something like homecoming. Eventually it all gets balanced out. You just have to give it a bit. You'll make it through! I believe in you! ^_^

Man, I really want to go apple picking. It's always best when it starts getting cooler, though. Warm apple cider and donuts don't work well in heat.
