I've gone further afield for xkcd meets, so I'm tentatively interested.

Ok, someone else can organise it. I'll do my best to turn up if it isn't on the 12-13th of May, or between the 22 and 28th of May.

I'm still in school until the 16th so, if it's before then, I won't be able to do a weekday (at least not during the daytime). After that, it's just random days I've got exams really.

How about first weekend in June? My weekend free before it's back to 3 weeks of anatomy (what's the point of finals if they only give you a week off afterwards :s )

Seeing as we're now in the second half of May, does anyone have a preference for the Saturday or Sunday? Personally I've got a slight preference for the Saturday.

Saturday is probably my preference too.

Whats the plan? There is a rennaisance astronomy exibit that looks pretty interesting. Although by then the weather will have cleared up too.

Does anyone have any idea as to what we could do? I don't know Oxford very well so I doubt I can be of much use.

We could do the Museum of History of Science, then maybe head to uni-parks or something?

That does sound pretty awesome. Do you know what time it is?

Cool. Do you know how good the rest of the fair is? I've got no experience of this and can't seem to find any info online.

Hmm. Judging by pics online it might be good to get there in reasonable time in order to actually see the race but you seem to have more information available than I do and, probably know Oxford better than I do; when/where do you think we should meet (I'm presuming we are doing Sunday now)?

Might be a bit difficult for me to do Sunday as I have a guest. Although may be able to drag 'em along.

I guess I did jinx the weather then. :|

If we're doing Sunday tortoise races - I will probably be also spending time with people from my college, given that we're going to scout out tortoises because we've decided we want a college one. Why don't we pick a time, and meet under the Corpus Pelican (it's right inside the gates to Corpus Christi).

I'm sorry to do this so late, but this all seems a little too up in the air for me to drive to Oxford. So I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have to drop out. :(
