New meetup attempt

Where: London Film & Comic Con at Earl's Court Exhibition Centre.

When: Saturday, July 9th, 2011. Apparently standard entry starts at 11 a.m., so probably some time around then.

Why:
1) It's a geeky event, so should be enjoyable.
2) Keozen of this board will be there, exhibiting for his & Moo's webcomic, Moo & Keo.
3) It's my birthday on the 10th, and it would be nice to meet up with some cool people from the fora around then.

So! I, as a longstanding LONDON forumite, would very much like to be welcomed back here after my departure to plymouth for a few months.

The problem here is, I have no friends, as pretty much all of them are at university!

So I was thinking that perhaps a few of you lovely londoners might like to meet up (I am especially fond of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese) that would be lovely!

Time (and I guess, place) to be decided!

Well, I'm still set for the 29th.
My flight-tickets are booked and my accommodations sorted, so I'll be there come rain or shine =)
Is everyone set on the venue being Ye Old Cheshire Cheese? If we want something to eat I'd recommend meeting somewhere else first and then moving to the Cheese. Feel free to vent your opinions.

I will most likely be bringing Swedish candy.

Brilliant! I don't have any such things, but I'll be there early and put up a paper on the table saying "xkcd Meet-Up".
I will also be accompanied by my lovely girlfriend.
