I'm disappointed I missed the last meet, probably would've been flying over Afghanistan at that point. But, since you all enjoyed it so much, we can have another one now I'm in the UK, sound good?

Wait. There was a meetup a couple of weeks ago, literally five minutes' walk away from where I currently am?

Damnit. :(

Can someone email me or something the next time this happens?

New meetup attempt

Where: London Film & Comic Con at Earl's Court Exhibition Centre.

When: Saturday, July 9th, 2011. Apparently standard entry starts at 11 a.m., so probably some time around then.

Why:
1) It's a geeky event, so should be enjoyable.
2) Keozen of this board will be there, exhibiting for his & Moo's webcomic, Moo & Keo.
3) It's my birthday on the 10th, and it would be nice to meet up with some cool people from the fora around then.

Double posting for bump:

I'm going to be in London next week, is anyone free for a drink at some point?

I can't say when exactly as I don't know what's planned, but I should be able to get out at some point.

I'm at the Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.

Hit me up! I want someone to get drunk with and definitely NOT salsa in the street with!

So! I, as a longstanding LONDON forumite, would very much like to be welcomed back here after my departure to plymouth for a few months.

The problem here is, I have no friends, as pretty much all of them are at university!

So I was thinking that perhaps a few of you lovely londoners might like to meet up (I am especially fond of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese) that would be lovely!

Time (and I guess, place) to be decided!

I will be back in the vicinity of London between Christmas and New Year, and perhaps for a short period in early January. I realise this is unlikely to coincide with anyone else's meetup plans, but if a meetup does take place in that timeframe, I'm totally in.

I have some Christmas love to give. And a missile-toe hat so you can't escape a Hairy Felkiss.

Also b.i.o. owes me, like, ten bucks. So this will be my only chance to reclaim it.

As Felltir and I both wandered past the Cheshire Cheese last Saturday (at different times of the night), I feel another gathering at the spiritual home of xkcduk is in order. I will be dressed like Ebenezer Scrooge.

Unless you're planning on teleporting me back here on the 29th, you may want to put your collection agent on the case a little earlier.

Well, I'm still set for the 29th.
My flight-tickets are booked and my accommodations sorted, so I'll be there come rain or shine =)
Is everyone set on the venue being Ye Old Cheshire Cheese? If we want something to eat I'd recommend meeting somewhere else first and then moving to the Cheese. Feel free to vent your opinions.

I will most likely be bringing Swedish candy.

Yeah, that sounds good.

In the interests of recognising each other, I'll probably be wearing my xkcd hoodie.

Brilliant! I don't have any such things, but I'll be there early and put up a paper on the table saying "xkcd Meet-Up".
I will also be accompanied by my lovely girlfriend.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! (Well, technically today.)
