Worth noting: we've finally, finally, finally got another Party Hard on our hands. Stand by for Operation Party Hard 2: Party Harder

Hope you can make it Jesse, if not, there'll probably be a fairly well turned out flash raid on the week before (and after...)

FUCK YES. This means I won't have to get up early the day after I get back from Malaysia. We've been getting up early so much already; I just sooooo want a lie-in the day I get back.

There's so much cake there it doesn't even get finished with 50+ people there. Maybe not a home, but a frequent holiday destination, perhaps?

Bump: One week away! Trilby won't be there unless the weather's bad, but strick (last seen in... april?) could be, with guitar, so I'll be arriving with.. probably three people unless it's raining. Sleepy, do you know your way to the bunker from the station now? Or will this week be one of endless map-studying?

:(

I was on a pre-booked snowboarder instruction course, which (hopefully, the last day's tomorrow when I'll find out if I've passed...) will support me financially through university, to some degree. Also, I doubt my wonderfully overprotective (and controlling) parents would let me go down to Manchester... and I have no really good excuses to let me get out of the house for several days at a time. :/

That other one, about the hate of pepsi
...wow, there's a vampire in the second one... how does one's complexion change so much between pictures?! The lighting's not too different, and the hood blocks roughly the same amount of light...

About 40 people were there all told, and 'twas basically arsing around, sometimes accompanied by, sometimes not to the music. Also handing out flyers and stickers and whatnot.

:( damn. Is the September one happening? It's almost poetic that I discovered this less than 48 hours after it happened... super... Ah well, I'm sure I'll get over it... I've not introduced myself by the way... at all (which I know is like the ultimate sin). I'm Louise, I'm nineteen and I'm a law student/cocktail waitress/bar tender (seriously). I'm not really a gamer but I work nights over summer and in the early hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep and no one I knew was awake I discovered xkcd whilst scouring the internet for something half decent to entertain me. Web comics are like my secret identity because no one I know in the real world would have a clue what I was talking about if I brought them up...

I know I should have put that in the intro thread so I will if anyone decides to bitch at me...

We don't care so much about the Intro Thread here. And I make exceptions for people who live within visiting distance of me anyway.

I will be at the September one, me and LE4d will be buying things from Games Workshop.

If sleepy goes to the next one, I'll try and be there. No offence meant to you guys, but I'm socially awkward and I'd prefer someone I already know to be there.

Anyone know what the theme for next month is?

For Manchester: "Up close and personal", an attempted innuendo based on "close" because a person by the name of close (to whom IRCfags attach much fail, and thus win) will be returning for the first time since... march. As to what that means on the ground, see global.
Globally: I dunno lol

Hey I will probably give you guys a look in but are we all planning to turn up with masks and hoodies in true 'anonymous' style? Do you think thats a bit intimidating for the general public who don't know an anonymous protest from a gang-war? I'm all for anti-scientology awareness but perhaps we should stick with flamboyant costumes, or people will think we're the bad guys (plus we won't get arrested :-D ).
