The Stampede itself it something I'd honestly rather avoid, but I'm close enough to Calgary (ie, Saskatoon) I might head there for a meetup if one were to happen.

I'm down for that, in general (although my schedule is already a bit crowded around then -- but during the latter half of Stampede I can probably make time).

Are you (Woopate) one of the fine folks I met here in San Francisco at the meetup? (If so, hi! And hope you found some good eats!)

Nah, I haven't been to any meetups yet. I'll be hitting the stampede one of the Saturdays. Probably the late Saturday.
