Err, we went there on Saturday. It is a Brazilian BBQ place, with all sorts of delicious meats and side dishes buffet-style, where you pay for your food by weight. It was wonderful.

Leesam, we generally hold a "the more the merrier" philosophy, much to the chagrin of places like Johnny D's, who have to find seating arrangements for all of us. Some people who hang out with us are pretty infrequent posters. You should come, some time.

Speaking of people who hang out with us who are infrequent posters, whereabouts has Natraj been lately?

Yeah, we should do a new-person introduction brunch soon. I should keep better track of how many of us there will be. That one time we had 15 reccently was...impressive.

Also, movie tomorrow night at the Somerville 7:30 In Bruges.

Finally, are you perfect?

I won't be attending anything happening in the next few days. My bronchial tubes are spewing gross green mucous and I am a sad panda.

I sure as hell am not cut out to be a surrogate as far as that casting call goes, but they're shooting in Boston? I wonder how I found out if they're hiring a local camera crew. I can do stills! And probably get paid a lot more. Then again, they'll probably hire someone who's union for a big budget movie.

I am really bad at keeping up with this thread recently. As Sarah pointed out, these surrogate roles probably require men to shave body hair, and although I am a stunning example of physical perfection, my body hair is a critical component of said perfection, despite the ignorance of the masses.

I don't think anyone else ended up going. Davis Square used to be more awesome, but I'll save the townie rant for brunch. Which we should do Sunday. Rain's predicted to stop by then (not that that means much). But screw this trend of setting it later and later—people are going to show up late anyway, so let's plan to get there at 12:30 so we can be eating at 1, pretty please?

Johnny D's in Davis, roughly across the street from the theater. I would love to do it at Kelly's Diner some time, but we always have way too many people to fit there.

For brunch, we will be the large (and loud) group standing in front of Johnny D's. We will be hard to miss. If you aren't sure, just mention something like raptors or zombies or otters/ducks.

Sunday is WAY bussier. I think we should do Saturday instead. Sunday is the brunch day, and that's when everyone goes. If we go Saturday I think we have a better chance of getting sat faster.

At anyray, lesanalgaib, we'll be the HUGE group standing outside waiting for a table.

Normally I'd be skeptical of extreme waffle enthusiasm, but I've had their belgian waffle with candied pecans and it is excellent. Dunno if you had noticed that on the menu yet.

I am fine with Saturday. For some reason I felt like I would be more open Sunday, but I have nothing to back that feeling up with. Anyone have a conflict tomorrow at noon-thirty?

Don't plan around me. I am a busy little person, and will be meeting up with some girl (devioussheep on okc) lunch-ish on Sunday. She will leave before cake, or I would bring her to that. Unless she can come to this... because I think she wants it to be date like and I don't know if I do.

To be fair, I don't know 100% if I'd make it at 11am on Sunday, either because I'm not sure yet if I'm going to a friend's housewarming party tomorrow night, which is a ways outside of Boston and would necessitate crashing there, which historically has meant a great deal of exhaustion upon returning to my apartment.

Then again, I could do brunch and then just bow out of whatever y'all do after that, if anything, so I can come home and nap. Or I can bow out of brunch and meet up with people after.

Really, I have no idea at all yet what I'm going to be doing on Sunday. Up until Cake Night, of course, which is precisely what I'll be doing after 7pm.

Edit: Sophy, she's definitely welcome to brunch, and that would be a perfect way to make it not-a-date while still ensuring that it's enjoyable.

I remembered why I said Sunday: Because it's supposed to be raining tomorrow and I don't feel like standing outside in the rain for half an hour waiting for people to show up and then to get seated. Who's with me?

Sunday at whenever! I absolve myself of decisionmaking re: the time. Sarah will use her **misogyny not found** to compel me to attend, whatever is decided.

Well, I mean, I am 90% sure I can do Saturday, and only maybe 30% likely to be available Sunday.

I suppose I will just have to surprise you all as to whether I will show up or no. It will be a mystery.
