I was playing COD4 and one of the quotes when I died was from a certain 'Erasmus'. But I didn't see the quote.

The only solution is to turn yourself into a bullet sponge so you can see the quote again.

I asked Gojoe why he didn't come to Sydney on #home today. He said he found out he owed the government and couldn't afford it. He promised to come see us in the future and I promised to make Erasmus wear a suit when he's here. Then I told the tale of riding escalators.

Hey! Hey! Guess what! I have an actual meetup proposition. :D A friend of mine is moving to Adelaide and she is having a farewell picnic at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday which should be wrapping up around 4pm. So if anyone wants to meet for dinner and hangouts in the city this Saturday evening, that would would be pretty cool!

I would only be able to get there at about 7:30'ish so I might not come.
Also, Med revue at UNSW is supposed to be on next week, any other UNSW people want to come?

I usually am playing soccer until 5 or so, but can probably get away early. Most of my assignments are due on Friday, so I would be pretty cool with that, Tegan. Hopefully enough other people can come so I don't have to worry about leaving you abandoned if I am running late/whatever.

I won't be abandoned; I can't imagine it will be anything like "Hey, it's 4pm, mass exodus from the Gardens!" And if some of my school friends come I'll have company to tide me over.

I'll consider it, but I have at least one assignment due Friday, and will thus be prone to having to pull out if it is not completed prior to the thursday. You don't have to book in advance for these things, do you?

Yeah, I know the people booking for my group. I can ask them to tentatively book you a seat. Or we can sell your seat on to a gullible first year if you need me too.

All should come. Med Revue is pretty good. The theme is "Pirates of Cardiology: Dead Man's Chest". I know the directors and they're pretty hilarious people.

EDIT: Details are nise.
Thursday, May 7. That's Thursday week.
7pm
Science Theatre at UNSW. I'll show you where it is. If you get there at 6 we can have dumplings for dinner.
Why? Love from Megan. Awesome show, really attractive performers.

Yeah, we'll meet in the city somewhere. It's probably best to arrange things by phone on the day in terms of when/where to meet, so if you want to PM me I will give you my number. This goes for anyone who wants it! :)

Turns out I can't make it on Saturday, family visits are getting in the way of the internets. Will still exchange numbers though, for future reference.

Well, I'm definitely in the city on Saturday, and I have handy dandy excuse: My friends are having a birthday picnic in the city from 12, so I might be able to convince my parents that we're going out for dinner or whatever afterwards. So what time/money frame are we looking at here?

Wow, picnic times on Saturday, hey! Well, mine is officially from 1pm til 4pm but I daresay it will be very flexible. Depending on how many other people I know that are going it might go later or I might even take them along with me when I meet you guys, whatever ends up happening. It's all very casual. I was thinking somewhere reasonably cheap for dinner like Chinatown, and not too late because the train is kind of scary on my own late at night, even if Brendan does come with me halfway. I'm thinking if everyone exchanges numbers with me, whoever is ready first can let me know and then I'll see how the rest of you are going?

Yeah... trains back from the city too late are pretty infrequent and annoying really. It probably won't be any later than 10 or so before the rest of us are heading out of the city. I can probably aim to get in the city around 5, but probably won't be any earlier. Chinatown sounds good, do we want to meet around town hall, or central? It's not far to walk from either one.

As for Thursday, of the 3 things I believed I had due next friday, one was confused with the following week, and another was moved back because people complained we haven't covered stuff we need to learn in the lectures until last night/next tuesday due to two weeks of holidays. So only one thing due, which means I should be able to handle going out to this revue thing on Thursday. :)
