Don't know if this is really a scientific thread or not, but I can only think of 3:

1. pouring it out (as mentioned)
2. puncturing/removing the bottom so it drains
3. allowing it to evaporate

HTH.

freeze the glass of water then let it sublimate

rather then pour out the glass, send it into outer space, and in micro gravity the water will float out

smash the glass to bits... the water will end up coming out

get a straw and drink the water, put a sponge in the glass big enough to absorb all the water then remove the sponge, basically insert some water-removing object into the glass and remove the water using it

add something which reacts with the water chemically creating a solid(does that count?)

fill the glass with water that is made with unstable isotopes. when they decay the remaining molecules wont be hydrogen and oxygen anymore, i think. the heat generated will boil the rest of the water

insert an impeller or ultrasonic humidifier into the glass of water and turn it on

Fill the glass with mercury or any other high density liquid.

Use extremely thin tubes to make the water leave due to capillary action.

Add chunks of sodium of different sizes and shapes until it stops being funny.

Change your definition of 'outside the glass' to include the room occupied by the water.

Put the glass into a vacuum chamber and reduce the ambient pressure until the water is boiled away.

Reverse the flow of time for the glass until it passes the point at which it was filled with water.

Shove the butt of a second (identical) glass into the first so it displaces (most of) the water.

...Define the water to be outside the glass?

Edit: Turns out posting and then reading the replies isn't that good. So now I have to find a new one...

...Define the rest of the Universe to be inside the glass?

Failing that, locally reverse entropy until the water freezes on its own. But of course if you find a way around the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics you'd probably be busy to do it. With the infinite power generation, time traveling and all.

You can't know the position and momentum of an object, simultaneously, to arbitrary accuracy.
More exactly, they are related - if you know the position more accurately, it causes an associated uncertainty in the momentum.
Even more exactly,
[math]\Delta X \Delta P \geq \frac{\hbar}{2}[/math]

So if you know the momentum really accurately you don't really know the position.

As far as I can see, no one has said this, so:

siphon it out.
make the water superfluid. (Yeah, I know this isn't possible)

To state that a glass has been emptied requires certainty that the water has left the glass...
But if you don't know where the water is, how can you be sure it's not in the glass?

Now you're worse off than when you started...

1. Take away all of its hopes and dreams, and alienate it from all of the other glasses of water it has ever cared about.

2. Fill it with nanobots that strip hydrogen from water to power themselves. Have them fight to the death.

Now THATS comedy!

I concur that this is the winning answer. Still, I'll try...

Define water to be a member of the null set. Prove the glass is empty by induction.
Huh? What?

Aye!

Or, two others:

1. Close your eyes, the glass is now filled with a sample of dihydrogen monoxide in chemical equilibrium.

2. It doesn't matter since all atoms are mostly space anyway.

Two words: Petawatt Laser.

Actually you'd need a lot of shots because apparently these things only do about 680 Joules per shot.

Deform the cup or mug into a topologically equivalent disc or torus, respectively.
or
Assume that arguments about the very high probability that we are living in a simulation are correct.
1: Figure out how to hack the simulation.
2: Delete the water.
or
Change the water into neutrinos by either heating the water to ~100,000,000,000 kelvin (as in the heart of a supernova) or more gradually by bombarding it with cosmic rays, converting the water into exotic particles which quickly decay into neutrinos.
or
Drop a quantum black-hole through the glass.

Pour in some juice consentrate and mix until its nice juice =)
Then devise a way to have a stick constantly in the liquid, not touching the bottom and with some sticking out the top.
Place in a freezer.
When liquid is frozen remove from glass using stick and enjoy the juicey juicey lolly =D.

You can't empty a glass of water. An empty glass has no water in it and is thus not "a glass of water". So the answer to the thread title is 0.
