Alkali Metal reactivity ratio?

If i want to make a big explosion, per gram, how many times more energy is released when cesium reacts with water, compared to all the other alkali metals (excluding francium).

This is an interesting article on the topic. The gist of it is that cesium doesn't actually release more energy (lithium actually releases the most energy), it just releases a similar amount of energy faster, because it requires less energy to get the reaction going.

This topic is kind of interesting to me, since I work in a physics lab that studies cesium, and I have at times had temptations to try taking a 5g ampoule of cesium and throwing it into a pond. :twisted:
