I wouldn't have known what NSFW stands for, had to look it up.

Incidentally I am at work, but the guy at the computer next to me is at some kind of meeting luckily.

"visual atrocities" is a good description. I don't think it's particularly funny, rather lame.

Hello all.

I am Russian guy and live not far from Moscow. I was born in 1984*.

I do my postgraduate work which includes astrophysics, a bit of particle physics and some computer simulations.

I've read quite a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books and am currently halfway through Sir Pratchett. My favorite writer outside of those genres is Mark Twain.

Sometimes I play computer games of RTS, TBS, RPG and roguelike kinds.

I program in C++ but prefer MATLAB language when possible (it works through an interpreter engine that needs to be installed) for ease of use and full matrix algebra support out of the box.

I mostly lurk so - not going to be formally allowed to post links for a few months, years or decades.

Hello everyone!

I'm this 21 year old dude from Lagos, Nigeria called Akinwale, or mostly Akin for short. I'm into software and web development, which is what pays the bills. I've also recently taken an interest in iPhone development.

I hope to settle down doing game development eventually. Took an interest a few years ago, but I haven't really had enough free time to finish the projects that I start, hence, a lot of unfinished projects.

I like video games (obviously), xkcd, great novels and movies, and football (the real kind), and goodlooking women, for the most part.

I registered last year but procrastinated about my first post. So there it is, I am also a qualified master procrastinator.

Hi, I'm a bro.

Born and raised in the ass of eastern Europe, escaping a cool civil war, and dropping out of high school at grade 9 to get a GED and pursue college.
At 18, I got bored with school, flipped some houses, and now I live comfortably without work and without problems.

Hi, my name is Tim i have been reading for a while and occasionally lurking the forums, i believe i created an account a long time ago late at night and have since forgotten what it was, so sorry mods.

I started reading this comic because someone from my work kept changing the employee computers background to be the most recent xkcd and i really enjoyed them. Reading this comic has increased my interest in getting into science if not mostly so i can understand what the comics are referring to and what people are talking about in the science forums.

I get easily intimidated into not posting because i see a lot of the same people posting and getting involved somewhere new is always hard.

I am a part time nerd, and part time geek while being a full time slacker. I go to community college in the Sacramento area (California). I am a 23 year old male. For what i actually do for a living i work 2 part time jobs and a full time job (75% so only 30 hours but as its listed as full i will claim it as full) and i am a full time student.

Hope that works for an introduction.

In fact, I like most of xkcd's comics. I also like every other comic out there, although, something tells me that I wouldn't enjoy the unicorn pron...

I'm sorry, that is incorrect. The answer is "Coniecto, ergo Jacobus sum." Conjecto would also have been deemed acceptable, but "conjico" is not. (Note: I don't speak Latin. I'm trusting sje for the rest of the translation because it looks right from my one semester of Latin).

I wouldn't have known that but for looking it up to confirm your win of the internets. Sorry, sje.

Also, that should be This Old Town's signature.

My The New College Latin and English dictionary has two two translations for "guess" : conjicere (III) and divinare. I went with the former, and turned it to conjico. That is only incorrect because it was an third "io", but that's only a slight error, and any Roman citizen would understand what is being said. I should have realized it was an io, but whatever.
When I turn to the Latin section it says "conjicio -jicere -jeci -jectus tr to hurl, cast; pile together; to conclude, infer; to conjecture; to interpret || refl se in fugam (or in pedes) conjicere to take to one's heels."

I'm a bit annoyed that it only says it is transitive in this part of the dictionary, but in the English part it says both. But, fun fact, the listing for conjecto only says tr too.
Point? I'm not sure if my dictionary is that good.

Hello... I am Bradley, also known as the pure Light 7... Yes, I purposely capitalized the letter L in Light for reasons involving television... Television shall rule us all...

I am a male from Dayton, Ohio. I am 13-years-old, and shall be turning 14 on June 2.

I like pie... I am also very random, and Oh me yarm! A BUTTERFLY!!!

*Shoots butterfly with flame arrow*

Anyways, as I was saying... Bacon.

That is all.
L is not REALLY justice. It is just a clever repetitive metaphor used to express the idea that he, as a person, has a strong sense of righteousness and judgment.

However, I really AM justice, and am therefore smarterer than him.
