No problem. Hey, and don't drive fast on the wrong side of the road. It's dangerous.

That's why I love Germany. Fast is just a matter of opinion on (large stretches of) the Autobahn :D

Driving on the wrong side of the road is a big no-no though. Unless you're in England or any other strange lefthand-oriented country.

Cruising speed here is at least 75 mph. In Germany, it's at least 80 mph. But trust me, there's plenty of stretches where 110 is cruising speed. And easily and safely doable, I might add. I once drove from here to Berlin in 3 hours, or at 170 kph (or 105 mph) average speed, without it ever getting dangerous or crowded.

I should probably say that I never think things through before typing thus my posts might not make sense. Also, I just realized that I missed a little bit of sarcasm. Heh heh. :P

Hello, I am Whammy, longish time lurker of the XKCD comic and just decided to jump into the forum for the fun of it. Stole the username from the gameshow when I was young and just kind of stuck with the name since then.

Anyway, just random stuff about me. I'm a Political Science major (minors in International Relations and Economics), and so admittedly some of the more science-computer-math...okay so a lot of the stuff goes over my head ^_^". Thank goodness I have a friend who is interested in computers and so is able to help me with some of it. I'm hoping to try and do some undergraduate research within the next year or so, so wish me luck on that.

Outside of political science and economics and what not, interests tend to be a mixed bag; anime and manga, country music, comedy shows (Whose Line Is It Anyway + Monty Python = gold), some live action shows (House, NCIS, Monk, etc.), and various other things.

Hopefully I'll be active enough around this place to get to know you all ^_^.

Hello, my name is Schrottrocker, I just joined the forum, I'm 30 years old, I'm from Germany... what else would you like to know about me? Oh yes, I'm male. English is not my native language so pardon me for wrong English. But I can help you guys with German if needed. I've been reading mostly in the language/linguistics forum this far and I'm probably going to get most active there. Let me know if you want to know anything else about me or if I'm supposed to go through a initiation ritual or whatever :)

Raptors prefer to eat people who do not use capital letters for breakfast.
How do the raptors spot these people when they are running away from them and not writing? I have no idea. Ask a raptor from me when you meet one. Tell me. If you can escape.

Welcome anyway, Tomlidich ;) . Enjoy the forum.

Well have I been lazy or what?

Welcome to the hotel. Keep an eye out for any raptors and alert authorities as soon as you get away. They are kept in every door to your left so always make sure you turn right into a door other wise well... you don't want to know.

Well the computer labs are about every 5th room on every floor, there are a lot of them. The games room is every 11th rooms per floor. We also have a swimming pool, running track and a restaurant and bar. Enjoy your stay.

I've been a bit lazy, and haven't posted here yet...

I'm quartrmster007 (this name is due to an obsession with Bond, if you didn't notice, and the random letters missing are due to AIM's screenname length limitations). I like parentheses (as you'll find out). I'm 20 years old, studying computational media at Georgia Tech. I'm absolutely obsessed with England and want to move there one day relatively soon. As for music, it is pretty much my life, and I have a VERY broad taste (anything that sounds good, really...currently listening to a mix of Ellie Goulding, Muse, Moby, Pink Floyd, and Queen). What else? I'm an INTJ, play saxophone (though I haven't in ages), am learning (when I have time) piano and guitar, and love food (currently on an Italian kick). I'm also a bit of a petrolhead (prefer the British term, haha) and love watching Top Gear...which is sort of feeding my Porsche 911 obsession. That's about it...if you want to know anything else, just post or shoot me a PM. :D

Hey All,

I'm Gonzo from CT. I spend a lot of time hanging about with the cambervillains and I am bored at home. So I figured why the hell not join up and actually talk to the people I find interesting on a more regular basis! My street cred includes MeaxPaux and Turtlebrains.

I am pretty open so feel free to AMA, though I may choose to use my own discretion... this is the internet after all.

Raptors with traffic cones on the head cannot run very fast, due to the need for keeping the traffic cone balanced.
