I thought that, but it would be hard to do a page topper in a thread about random thoughts. I suppose you could pretend to reply to someone else's thoughts.

Also, small children like me for some reason. I found out what the ponies censor is for. My eyes hurt.

I find, however, that if I don't check facebook, I don't actually get told if someone breaks up, or if they get a new girlfriend or whatever. It's just taken for granted that if it's on facebook, everyone knows. Which is a stupid premise, because all things get buried in the news ticker, and I just wind up with a page full of that one annoying person [everyone has one] who posts "funny" videos and invites you to join every group / game / application in the known universe, except I would contest that my person is worse because 8/10 of these things are in Italian, and I have no clue whatever who she is, other than that she's supposed to be part of my Philosophy Society [an actual, RL group] but I've never seen her. I can't remove her, because it would be rude not to invite her to events and things, since she's a member [and a member on the university list I have, too]. It makes my brain hurt.

It was pretty good. We can take over this thread in addition to the meetup thread.

If I end up banned or with my title changed to something ridiculous soon, blame hermaj.

I think she said something about my title being "Princess" something.

and the 6 hour ban does not bother me seeing as she will likely do it either when she gets home, or in the morning, meaning I should be fine by the time I get home from work tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm kinda banking on the fact I know she does not read this thread, and thus will be unlikely to wait for me to get home before banning me, assuming she does, of course.

I found the Melbourne CoS branch by accident a little while back. I took a quick look through the window and walked away absolutely terrified by the amount of ridiculous crap in there. I'd go to a protest just on the grounds of scientific integrity.

RT: The only thing I really care about is that I just got back from one of the most awesome dates EVAR.
Spoiler:
You need to know the full story: a classmate of mine has another friend with a very rare name, "Talla". When I heard this, I was literally struck by so much awesome in one name I squeed. I asked a thousand and one questions about her, and heard stuff like "Yes, she still has all her limbs." and "Yes, she has hair." and "Yes, she really is, in fact, a girl."
Then one day, I asked if she likes to fingerpaint. (Which is a word not recognized by many internet browsers. Non, in fact, I think.) Classmate said she didn't know and would ask. The next day she said "Yeah, sure Talla would like to fingerpaint with you." and I was like "..." "..." "O...kay. Cool..." and later "WOOOOOOOW! Awesome! Random girl I don't know would like to fingerpaint with meeee!" (Later, Classmate said she did want to be there, just to make sure didn't "do anything". :x )
I got her MSN and soon we were chatting away about... nothing really. Maths, language, books, school, events, music, art. The whole lot. Days went by and after having to postprone it for 3 times (yes, I said 3 times. 1st time was because she had to go somewhere, 2nd time was because my grandma almost died, and 3rd was because Classmate's aunt had died.) it felt like the universe was against me. But then, sure enough, sunday the 14th came, and nothing bad happened. I just, cycled there and rang the bell. Mother opened, and said Talla would be there any moment. And yes, after 5-10 minutes, there she was: a bit chubby, small, and very very pretty1. Hmmm, I still remember the way she smiled and said "This is so funny, haha!" And her hair, nice hair... Anyway, we got down to business (the painting, dirty dirty you) and we made 2 paintings each, so we could distribute them evenly. We talked and talked, laughed, played with a rubber ball, drank tea and cofee, fought over my wallet, and I got a tour around her house.
And wow, was I happy. Still am. At one point I said "I can hardly realise I am doing this.".
So yeah, today is, in fact, made of pure awesome.

1Did I mention she is goddamn beautiful?

Aww...this made me smile.
Congratulations!
