Cupcake fairy and cupcake ferry are pretty similar.

What I'm saying is you should bring me cupcakes on a boat. :D

*new thought*

Today when I was putting on deodorant, I noticed what looks like a small mole near my underarm. But it's a pinkish color, and looks almost like a zit. Which it may be. But since I'm a huge hypochondriac, I am paranoid I have skin cancer. That is all.

I had a painful tiny bump in my armpit several months ago which I got very scared about. I went to the doctor's and she said it was just an ingrown hair but for a while I was really stressed about it.

Don't hesitate to go to a doctor, but if you put the large end of a pencil on it and the mole is smaller, it is generally considered that there is nothing to worry about.

Yeah, I know that (it is much smaller, btw. Maybe 2/3rds the size of an eraser, if that). But remember, I am a hypochondriac. :(

What is the name of the comic with the emo characters that act cute together? Weird names they have. I can't remember for the life of me.

There's one in the boys bathroom too. It actually tends to get used a lot more, and in more interesting ways.

i'm simultaneously having too much fun and hating being diagnosed with bipolar. especially now that i'm aware of it, i can feel myself slipping up the scale into manic or down into depression. I'm just glad I have my antipsychotics acting as a fence to stop me from going too far up the manic side.

also: i'm going to enjoy wearing my new shirt to school on monday when i go back to explain things.

I just got out of a semi-sorta non-relationship with a bipolar girl. She was seeing someone else, wanted to break up with him for me. Felt bad she was cheating on him. Continued the cycle for several months, then decided she was better off with the guy with the doctorate. Gotta love a whole buncha crazy... at least she could keep up. Crazy dorky kinky is both refreshingly fun and completely mindboggelingly frustrating. Gotta love a rich girl that treats you as her boy toy. So how does that work the whole bi-polar? She was contemplating going on the drugs, but wasn't sure. Then again I'm positive that might have something to do with the whole bi-polar dilemma. One way, the other, one way, throw a bottle through a window, cry, rinse, repeat.

Your state has contests to see who can speak? That's... some pretty low standards.

I took Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Foreign Extemporaneous. In LD I didn't make it to quarters, which was kind of irritating, as I did really well at regionals. I made it to quarters my freshman year and haven't been back since (I'm a junior.) Extemp is what I won in.

For the interested, basically you draw five questions and then pick one to speak on. The one my actual speech was on was "Is NATO still relevant in today's geopolitical climate?" Then you have half an hour of "research" (i.e., you're allowed a box of magazines that you have prepared.) After that, you have to give a 4-7 minute speech. Technically, you're allowed to use an index card with no more than fifty words of notes. However, most everyone I know waives this right, as it kind of disrupts the flow to glance down at the card. I haven't used one in years. (Plus, even though it's allowed in the rules, judges prefer you to go entirely off of memory.)

Congrats! I was never good at extemp. I need more time to get my thoughts in order. I can think quick on my feet but generating whole speeches in that time frame was hard. That's a good topic though. We didn't have LD, we did policy, which was good for me, I liked the mix of having "pre-done" speeches with the thinking on my feet with crossx and such. (obviously 1st Af is the same first speech always, and even as neg you had general disads we usually ran...my fav. position was 2nd Neg. :D)

I can't speak for policy--what we call CX, despite the fact that LD still has CX--debate, but LD is a lot like that too. The Aff Constructive is always the same, the neg constructive is half the same and half improvised rebuttal, and cx is always fun.

But still it means I'm back here again and I've missed a lot over the past two weeks.
