I know exactly how that is. You know it's fucked up but part of you's like "starbucks got bombed? geez FINALLY!" What is the general region you reside in?

Edit - Oh http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crim ... bucks.html

Fortunately no one got hurt. But it's so absurd I have to laugh, and also I hate Starbucks.

It's also creepy because about two weeks ago, my neighbor died alone in his apartment and no one knew, and there was a funky smell wafting through my floor. We found out a week later it was a corpse. And then about a week ago I was riding on a bus when it hit a woman on the street. And now this happened.

I can't imagine very many people are at Starbucks at 3 AM.
Then again, you never know.

In England, many apples are grown. So much cider is drunk, to the joy of all.

From what I hear of "wine coolers" drunk by Americans and of the wine and coke drunk by the Spanish, it seems that growing grapes makes you drink wine cheaply, much more cheaply than you can drink it in the UK.

I've noticed this too with other drinks and foods. In the UK, you get Apple Juice, Apple and Mango, Apple and Raspberry &c. Grape Juice is much more uncommon. Whereas in the US, there was grape juice everywhere. Grape Jelly (Jam to Brits) was available too.

Wine coolers aren't actually wine. As per here and here.
Apple combinations are pretty common here too, but generally with the other fruit first. And most of of fruit punches and the like (and hell, non-apple, non-punches) have apple juice as a main ingredient. Cran-apple is one, and just checking the fridge, the cranberry-raspberry also has apple listed.

John Carpenter is set to direct a Broadway musical about an uncompromising interstellar shape-shifter who is taught compassion and the finer points of culture by Kurt Russell. It is tentatively titled The Thing & I.
