I didn't want to start another thread about this, and I'm too lazy to find the correct keywords to google or try it out myself...so, does anyone know for how long you have to be away on gchat before your status indicator turns orange?

I finally made a facebook, and I regret it already, why couldn't I let the connections with my old friends die slowly, with a fond mythology growing from it, it was impulsive, I knew it would happen, if I deactivate it now it might cause offense or be seen as drama gathering, I'm inside some of their heads I know how at least one will react wheels turning seeing hidden daggers everywhere, spreading word of me scheming and manipulating for attention. I done fucked up

Why are the ring tones for my phone made up? I just spent ten minutes searching for 'sporting spork' because I thought it was a song similar to the ring tone. Does the phone company have a meeting where they decide that stuff? Or do they trust the low level marketers to do it? Maybe they have a machine like the one in 1984 that does it.

Someone decided to put names in a hat and draw. That's the only logical explanation. But that's probably how 90% of names are created.

It is an interesting conundrum. The only possible solution is to eat it after midnight, because calories after midnight don't count. It's a scientific fact.

True, but you must balance the calorie-free aspect of post-witching hour consumption against the fact that you *will* pupate and you *will* emerge green and slimy and obstreperous.

Another solution of course is to add something to the ice cream which makes it not delicious any more. Like boiled sprouts.

Please find a DIFFERENT job for them! I humbly ask for complete separation from the entire lot. I will not hold myself responsible for their poor judgment. If you think tending bar in WTFing paradise is something...... Look, the bottom line is, they only call when they need something or have something to gain. It has been that way since I've known them.

Favorite his and hers quotes from past years:

"What are you gonna do now? You can't stay here" His
"Don't worry, it's painless" Hers
"Sophie can be your girlfriend" Hers
"That didn't happen" His
"He's like Peter Pan" Hers

Just a sampling.............

Where to start, where to start. Sure is nice of Peter Pan to show your 10 year old son how to get over his fear of heights ,fear of the baseball, and how to shape his mit. Most boys learn that by the age of five. I'll leave it at that, to spite my desire to tear you clear down to the appropriate size. I assure you my ten page analysis would make you curl up in a corner and cry. You're not fooling anyone. The rest of the shit can be chalked up to what you perceive is in your best interest, financially and socially that is. Which brings me to the connection. However, I realized it doesn't matter if I make the connection or not. You chose your side and nothing either one of you has said or done leads me to believe anything different. Since this "Isn't your first Rodeo", educating you on the rest is unnecessary. If only the leaves grew on the end of Geppetto's nose.

Sincere Best wishes. C

I've hardly gone on the fora this year at all. I just got my first-quarter grades, and they are all A's (well, two A-'s, but still), including honors and AP courses giving me a GPA around 4.27 I believe. Before this, I had never gotten all A's on a single report card in my entire life.
