If not, then try to single out the variables involved in determining whether it hurts and how much.

My sideburns have become rather unfashionably fluffy and un-trimmed. My mother suggested waxing them out into points. I prefer fluffing them up so they stick out the sides like a farmer's. Mine is an odd family.

I'm going skiing tomorrow. My first trip to an actual mountain this year. I can't frigging wait!

Plus, it's supposed to continue snowing, so it might even be a powder day. That would be so amazing I can't even express it.

Hmm, unfortunately, my chest hair, whilst there already, is still growing in (arg, I'm nearly 21 for god's sake, hurry up, hair!) so it doesn't all really join up yet, but that is something to aim for. I suppose the sideburns do connect to a mustache of sorts as I seem to have somehow grown some variety of grown-up beard inbetween them.

I am indifferent to hair.
I don't like it and I don't dislike it.
Both hairy bodies and hairless bodies are pretty groovy.

I dislike choking on a hair, though. My hair is long enough to have half down my throat and the other half hanging out my mouth.
That's... strange and I'm glad it happens so rarely.

I think I figured out why people hate my country. The word "flexitarian." A vegetarian that eats beef. But only grass fed beef! As if there's a difference. Then a book was written on how it's primal to eat meat.

I'm absolutely sure that I will forget to take something important with me tomorrow. I also have this fear that the real estate agent has rented the apartment to someone else, or that they will not let me rent the apartment because I forgot to call the electric company, and that I will not have my own internet connection for atleast a month. Also, first day in new school tomorrow. Lots of new people and unpredictable social situations. I is all shaky and distressed :| .

FT: Any of the UK contingent seen this: Snowed-in pub story? Seem familiar? I'm sure this pub appears every year due to the stoical drunken spirit of the snowed-in regulars.

My guess: as soon as heavy snow is forecast the locals leg it to the remotest neighbourhood drinking hostelry in the hope that they'll get snowed in. Sounds like a plan to me! Where's the long range forecast...

You UK whippersnappers call that "at least 5 cm" heavy snowfall? I've got well over a meter of snow outside my window.

Good point, well made. However, I think the implication was that 5cm of snow was enough to prevent the average Yorkshire man from leaving the pub. To be honest I find that a light drizzle can have that impact on me.

But it gets worse! Here a bunch of people took refuge, and needed to be rescued from the dreadful 20 cm snow coating the ground. I was still wearing sandals when there was 20 cm snow on the ground here.

EDIT: and it gets better! Did anyone see couple rescued from their snow-plough? A snow plough? Anyone see anything wrong with this picture?

On this subject of snow, I just got back from skiing. And it was awesome. A good foot (30cm) of fresh powder and the mountain was empty because of the northeaster we're having. I stuck to the powder all day and went non-stop for a couple of hours.

Man my legs are sore now

Every "snowed in" story in the UK normally comes down to people being unwilling / unprepared to abandon their cars. I scoff at them; shanks' mare may not be as powerful or as fast as a car, but I get excellent mileage and I'm not stopped by snow / ice.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.
