London Steampunk Spectacular:

[One of the bands has just finished]

Steampunk #1: OH shit I lost it!
SP#2: Lost what?
SP#1: [Says something inaudibly to group of SPs]
[6-7 SPs all looking around on the ground for something]
Me: What're we looking for?
SP#3: A human heart.
SP#4: Anyone found the heart yet?
SP#5: Aaah, one must always hold onto one's experiments
SP#6: Quite so
SP#4: 'Tis a pity to lose one's heart...

I still have no idea whether they were actually looking for something, whether it was a joke or whether someone had lost a heart. Well, I can probably rule out the last one. I mean, they were all look pretty seriously for it.
One more fun quote:

[Steampunk band #2]: [Inaudible screaming drowned out by instruments]
[Band members 1-3 stop playing]
[Band member 4]: I LIKE FUCKING WOMEN UP THE ARSE-Ooh shit sorry.

Yeah, it was an odd but enjoyable night, if you like tophats.

See, a couple of my friends went out to a park once and while we were walking there my friend says "Hey, look what I got" and he pulls a heart out of his pocket.
Apparently he'd bought a leather mask of this guy on ebay and the guy said he was trying to get rid of some stock so he'd put something special in as extra.

Why does it freeze my firefox page and take like 20 seconds to load jsmath? someone must have it in their sig because i don't see any on this page, or any frt pages of recent, and yet, it happens all the time. GRAH.

Also, everyone should come to this National Seattle Meetup 2010: be there!

Jumble does. If you click open the jsmath panel, go to options, and force asynchronous processing, it should help.

Well, pending an email from my family, I probably still am taking that trip, although perhaps a week or two sooner or later. However, being on the east coast when all the cool fora members are heading towards the west coast is kind of lame.

RT: I just about referred to North America having an east and a left coast. I'm confused.

I would be more interested in finding out why he was buying a leather mask to be honest, as in my mind out side of a Munich sex shop I have no idea what the hell kind of shop would stock both leather masks and preserved sheep hearts...

Do tell.

I have one that might top your friend though I trained as a game keeper and we had this weird guy who used to come in and just ask for some dead animals at first we where a little wierded out by this but he said he was a taxidermist and said sure we would call him when we had a fox or something. Anyway we called him and said we have some foxes for you 3 weeks later he comes back round with two male foxes mounted in what I can only describe as a significantly posture both with sun glasses of the Dame Edna variety and the display box had been made into some form of bar, needless to say we thanked him an backed away slowly.

In the past, most of my posts had little regard for context, and no regard for symbol, color, and angle. I’m sorry if I was a slow student, and I’m grateful for the education I’ve been given. I understand the duality of our world and the necessity for all three sides to maintain the integrity of the structure. I believe in the teachings of most religions. I’ve seen preachers as pimps, drug dealers, and thieves. I’ve seen whores as saints. I’ve seen birth and I’ve seen death. Perception is not reality and the innocent die with the guilty. Education is stupid and evil.
I understand the duality of our world and the necessity for all three sides to maintain the integrity of the structure.
Three sides? Have you lost your mind? There are four simultaneous twenty-four-hour days, and six sides to a cube.
I believe in the teachings of most religions.
And yet you doubt the teachings of Gene Ray, wisest of Cubics?

Yeah. Normally I wouldn't bother asking, but I am actually breaking set in stone rules, so I'm being a tad bit careful. Some forums not explicitly dedicated to a humor website can be a bit touchy, although rule of funny pretty much applies here, so it's at least reasonable.
Also, don't follow that link. It's by far the most malicious thing I've posted yet. It will not crash you browser. It will crash your life.

I'm known to preface such links with a (WARNING:TVTROPES) or similarly loud disclaimer. But given your url-tag-fail, it wasn't necessary.

EDIT: you fixed the fail.
