I've often wanted to build a airship capable of hoisting around 50 pounds of materials, putting solar panels on the side, and then mounting a computer on it with about 5 high-res webcams mounted below, and then somehow rig it to be able to just program a flight path and let it fly around...

This has kinda been a dream of mine.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Yes, Randall is into kite photography. See comics 235, 268, and 442, as well as this blog post.

No sarcasm was intended. I just had a rather difficult time wording that sentence (English isn't my best subject...). Kite photography is interesting, but I've never had an obsession with kites before, so I don't know much there.

Turns out Facebook is taking responsibility for my relationship now!

"Hey, guess what? Your anniversary is on Friday! Don't forget."

Thanks, but I already have that one covered. It's a pretty important date, after all.

What's hair got to do with it? Shave it all off or dye it blue, and people will come and talk to you. I'm a poet and didn't know it.

I've just realised that the reason that I prefer people giving me harsh criticism rather than sympathetic platitudes is because my needy homunculus requires regular feeding. I almost never act on said criticism or platitudes, but I feel better for it. There's probably something deeply wrong with me somewhere (I've got some ideas where).

(I don't know, but people saying "Don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine" almost never helps. But I don't know whether "you're going to fail" helps more. Plus, when people come to me with their problems, I use the platitudes thing; I don't know why, it might be me wanting them to stop complaining so that I can talk about my problems. This is probably why I don't like it from other people)

I'm listening to the soundtracks right now. They're awesome. Also, I'm slightly worried because I think that the leitmotif that Williams adopted for the Nazi characters is, well, pretty awesome (the first bit). Nazis are evil cocks, but that damn leitmotif; It's so badass.

Oh, you were expecting a response? Well, it's really only a good deal if 1) you are learned in the ways of Google-fu (I can often answer questions in under a minute) and 2) you can't get a normal job for whatever reason (a common example is that they employ a lot of army wives, who move around too much for a regular job. As for me, no one in my area is hiring right now, except for a couple of places that are unwilling to work around my college schedule). Personally, I enjoy doing it, but I realize that not everyone enjoys trivia.

Also, if you do a decent job, you can work your way up in a few months (though I don't know offhand what those guys make as I've only been at this a short time).
