Think about it: you're very unlikely to actually encounter a paedophile. But you can't heave a brick on the internet without hitting a republican. Also, all your child has to do to avoid the harm that paedophiles cause is to obey a few simple security precautions, but to avoid the harm that republicans cause he must learn enough about politics, economics and history to see through their bullshit- a tall order for a 12 year old, and something that many adults never manage. Paedophiles might harm a handful of children a year, whereas republicans cause incalculable harm to the morals of hundreds of thousands of developing minds.

You see, that is exactly the kind of outrage that our citizens need to be protected against. And facebook are refusing to take this issue seriously and protect our children from these MONSTERS! The other day, a mother of a 9 year old told me her child had been reading about trickle down economics! What next, can we expect them to announce in the kitchen that global warming is a myth? When will it end? These fiends in human form should be castrated!

I find pedophiles incredibly scary though. Like, biggest fear, even though I'm well beyond the age where they're a problem. They frighten me.
And I wouldn't necessarily say it's republicans that are dangerous, it's radicals on either end of the spectrum.

I remember walking somewhere in the dark one evening and thinking "I don't need to worry about paedophiles, I have pubes" It was a weird thought and one I'm not sure needed revealing.

I'm confused. I just thought about it and I don't think I've ever actually been interested(like romantically) in anyone genuinely I just wanted an escape from the situation I was in at the time. It's all been a long string of escapes....

What do people mean when they say they believe abortion should be used for 'serious purposes'? You mean, like, contraception? that's pretty serious. I can quite see why you wouldn't want to do abortion as a hobby, or a practical joke. Is that what they mean?

Perhaps they mean that it should only be used when you can't help falling pregnant, like in the case of rape. (as opposed to just being reckless with your sexual activity)

I dunno, surely abortion is always serious? "I had an abortion, but luckily it wasn't too serious"??

I would suggest "lol, we're out of condoms, oh well, I can always get an abortion if I get pregnant" as an example of not taking abortions seriously.

If you're to do it, I'd couch it in the terms of the road safety adverts I've seen, and use the same emotional loading.

Like something about how you're fearing the day that you get called about your friends being in an accident and remembering those pictures.

In germany you have sings that say things like "Peter and Angie wanted to be home fast to watch ___" with a picture of happy looking people and then at the bottom R.I.P. with ___ till ___.

They work for me.

We need a service that asks you a series of increasingly-detailed questions to help you identify, say, a species of spider you've found.

I hate not knowing whether or not the spider I've captured is potentially dangerous, and I'd just rather know what it is for curiosity's sake.
