An alien civilization is destroyed and one of the photons emitted in the big ass-explosion hits a solar panel on Earth, powering the television in the last panel.

Edit: Actually the one you linked isn't the latest. I guess the Hustler one is contrasting porn and bible. (Hey that reminds me of the porn for bibles campaign.) The parents use phrases that are often used by those who don't take Bible literally.

More edits: Haha, cheesegrated!

Hmm, I wouldn't wait around for that.

Christmas day tomorrow! Well, sort of: I ordered myself a shiny new smartphone on contract after much "Damn I really want that, and I can just about justify it". Sleeping is the most effective way to pass time without noticing it; if only I had myself some of those time dilation pills, time would seemingly pass faster...

This was back when I did rugby though, so if I tried it again now it would be far far lower. Cross country has ruined my upper body strength :(.

Cross country is awesome for rowing! Upper body strength is not nearly as important as people seem to think in rowing!

Also, for us boys at my school our splits for a 2k are sub 1:40 to get in the 1st's, so....sub 6:40 2km. Our flat out 500m times were around 1:20-1:30.

It takes time to sell off all their in-store stock.

Especially when they keep forgetting to stop ordering new stock.

This is what happened with a chain of sports shops (Sport & Ski?). Basically, they opened stores and decorated the front windows with "CLOSING DOWN SALE!!!" from the day the stores opened. The Trading Standards authority had to change the rules to prevent them from perennially closing down.

...They eventually closed down.

I have an image in my head of an old guy in a large store that's completely empty apart from a till and a single wooden stool with a £10 sign on it. He's grumbling that someone should "buy it already so he can lock up." and has been doing for the last 4 years...
