Makes no difference who you are....

I read that as "it makes no difference who you are in terms of the wish coming true". Meh.

FT: Cabbage is underrated, misunderstood and underused. Brussel sprouts, on the other hand, are just as evil as the rumors suggest.

Also, does all non-English wikipedias suck, or is it just the Swedish version that's edited by complete nincompoops?

Cabbage is all right. Brussels sprouts are great. I hardly use the Hebrew Wikipedia, but it's useful for translating sometimes.

I find German wikipedia useful when there's some general world issue, and I want to find out specifically what the situation is in Germany. In that case it tends to be quite detailed; then there's a little stub at the end entitled 'other countries'. :P

I don't know whether to be proud or slightly worried that I can convince my peers that I didn't realise a world cup is happening.

It's probably a little sad that I was more excited about the Tetris playoffs than I was about the World Cup. >_>

I only just found out a few minutes ago that England are playing Germany today. I gather the England team aren't doing too well.

What is the historical correlation between fertile land and Homosapiens? Look at where "our life" began. Are we a species that devours everything in its path? You stay up at night for your children, but what have we done, SIR? Your actions should show care for our resources. Ride this good piece of land as long as we can!

Sure the farmers make less on an annual basis, but we have a sustainable deal. Fuck feeding the rest of the world for diamonds and gold! Have you seen where that goes? The fraction is insignificant!

Oh god, why did I read the teacher's handout (which is on Early Modern English) when a Children's bible is 3.8 meters away! Well, it did made me relate to Job's suffering :D

Do not mock the delicious.

We're Americans. If it's tasty and high in things that are horrible for you, we'll make it and eat it. We'll then figure out a way to make it out of highly inappropriate things under the guise of being healthier while in actuality being just as god-awful for the body as the original, if not worse due to it now being 90% chemical slurry rather than 90% lard.

We're pretty fucking awesome like that.
