I tried to help with the multi-glare thing, but I was unable to find the proper angle/lighting to capture pbd's picture reflected off my glasses.

I have a pair of reflective glasses at home. I'll try to move it up to Layer 2 tonight and then we'll see how it goes. :)

I thought about using sunglasses, but then you couldn't really see me glaring.

Also, I just realized my eyeglasses have an anti-reflective coating.

I don't like when I sometimes get that feeling that I've taken all the wrong decisions and my whole life is going a way I don't like but there is nothing to do about it but hang on and take the ride.

I went for a walk. It was around 3 AM, and the sun was just over the horizon. Nice misty morning, a bit chilly, and no real wind to speak of. Came back after about an hour, and now I'm enjoying that supreme feeling of relaxation you get from extended walking.
I edit my posts a lot and sometimes the words wrong order words appear in sentences get messed up.

There's another box full of red peppers sitting on the desk behind me. Why do people keep giving me (and the others in my office) red peppers? I don't even have access to a kitchen, so I can't do anything with them. :?

IV-V-VI-Holiday Special-I-II-III

It'll make the prequel trilogy look good by comparison.

And a few magic space ships that make giant spheres appear that are also magic because they make other space ships appear OR entire fucking planets with active civilizations. How wonderful and magical is that?

I'd totally go I-II-III-IV-V-VI for the Star Wars marathon. Not only do you get the story in the right order, but you also get the best films last. It's win-win!

There are two people in my family I wish to speak with on a regular basis: my father, and my half-sister. Unfortunately, I don't get to speak with them as often as I'd like, and I get to see them far less than I get to speak to them. If only I had enough money to move somewhere removed from those of my family I have no inclination to interact with.

If you figure it out, I want to know!

Also you could export your GIS information to crappy KMZ/KML and import it to Google Earth.

Necroing this post but wanted to share a story.

I was at Target a few days ago getting groceries. There was a mom there with a few kids, one a very small girl. I was trying to drive my cart towards the produce, and the little girl kept moving in front of me - she was distracted by this or that thing, or was dancing around and ignored me. I nearly yelled "Cat!" at her. Because when I'm at home that's what I yell at small furry things that keep getting in my way.

Guy uses legal loophole to get a house for $16.

I actually want to cheer for the effort. I always think about this kind of stuff when I read legal stuff. "So if anyone's daring enough to try that, it could.. technically.. work?"
