I wouldn't trust any one place to do that. Hit up somewhere that specializes in prints to get it printed - locally owned photography stores tend to be good at that. Take the print to someone else for the framing - either an actual frame maker, or often larger craft stores will do it as well.

Something else you could look at would be having it printed on something ready-to-hang. A mounted print on black gatorboard, or a metal print with standoffs, might be interesting ways to display that.

So what you're saying is that the comic should say:

Ingredients: Hydrogen, time.
May contain traces of helium and lithium.

I know there are stores that custom make large prints (though I only know of Swedish ones, so I can't point you anywhere). But yeah, framing is probably something you'll have to do yourself.

I've accessed my online banking from a smartphone before. I would assume the encryption on the browser is up to snuff, otherwise there would have been a big scandal about it in the news by now.

The reason I ask is that I saw a news report a while back pointing out that since phones didn't have the security that's present on a computer, you shouldn't do it.

No idea. None of this is even remotely my area.

My bank has an app available, which you'd expect to be as secure as an app can get given that it's a bank, but it also has maximum password lengths for its online accounts, so...

I would be more concerned of the security of the phone than the security of the app-to-bank connection.

The typical smartphone isn't exactly a bastion of security.

A smartphone is a computer. Like their desktop counterpart, they are susceptible to malicious code.

--edit--

The temperature knob on my oven goes down to 0C. Think about that for a moment... 0C. That's 32 F. If you twist it down to 0C while it's turned off, you can hear the relay ticking when it goes below room temperature.

Just... wtf. Who designed this shit? I suppose if you bring it outside during the winter, you could turn it to 1 degree and thaw some snow.

It interests me that I am only able to find information about Planned Parenthood, the RU-486 pill and the issues with the drug in question on Pro-Life Websites.

...Or that every article I can find about specific abortion issues are heavily, heavily biased one way or the other.

Serves as a stark reminder of how emotionally-charged this issue is, no?

I think you will find that PP has a website. It took me about .25 seconds to find mifepristone on Wikipedia. Contraindications and adverse effects are listed there.

Yep, managed to do both, although I was looking for articles to refute the implication that the drug is inherently harmful. The 'sales report' on adverse effects was useful on this front, and I'm trying to figure out how the drug is typically administered to see if if the claims of PP 'violating FDA guidelines by letting women take this drug at home' are true.

As well as trying to find information about a 2008 'Sting-Op' wherein a pro-life university student hired an actor to offer PP donations for 'reducing the number of black babies' as a way of proving inherent racism on the part of the organization.

Also, it's fun to note how often Pro-Life Proponents will talk of Planned Parenthood as an 'Abortion Industry' or in marketing terms, as if the organization is deliberately promoting as many abortions as possible for monetary gain.

Even assuming that their description of the organization is accurate, the basic message is that someone is doing something morally dubious in order to take money and this is something that has to be stopped.

What a surprise. It's almost as if they're saying that some things are so important that they shouldn't be left to the private sector and the marketplace! I wonder what else could fall into this category... /sarcasm

Also, I created a couple of Hispanic Characters recently, in part because I figured I could practice my Spanish while trying to come up with dialogue for them.

Also don't use banking on a non-phone, because computers are vulnerable to similar attacks. And don't use tellers, because they are vulnerable to social attacks. And don't use ATMs, because the certification process for those is a serious mess.

Edit: this week, three of the 5 people who sit near me at work have had colds. This hasn't stopped them coming to work, just coughing and sounding rough and looking like they're at death's door. phones are roughly as secure as any computer, except for the fact that there aren't that many reliable AV/antimalware apps out for phones that actually do much, AND even if there were, almost no one has them installed anyway.

it's a device that runs code that was written by a human and it uses an internet connection to do it's do.

also, by default, wireless communication is more easily "tapped" than wired communication since you don't have to have physical access to the transmission medium.
