14 posts in less than six hours does not make a thread stalled. ... Not sure what your standards are, but I thinks they're too high.

For this thread? Yea, that's a little slow.

The Beer thread in Food? That'd be like break-neck speed.

I have watched this thread go 3 days without a post. It was so sad.

Wow, teaching your parents how to use a kindle can suck the life right out of ya. For the love of all thats holy, It's a touch screen keyboard! For amusement, I had my mom grunt and slap it like an ape. Lols, she hit the right key so it worked. I do believe I could've solidified the "grunt slap".

Watching Chronicle right now; the discovery and development of their powers is incredibly captivating. Always one of my favorite parts of super hero movies.

Damn this cold is annoying. Too restless to do nothing, too malaised to do something. So I just sit around surfing reddit all day long. Which, granted, I would probably do anyway, but I feel really uneasy about it.

Also, I have an asking thing-waffle.

I went to an Apple Store this evening to purchase a Mac Mini and a VGA-to-DisplayPort adapter. My credit card isn't on my Apple account, so I asked the Apple Store employee to ring it up on my credit card. We got to talking and he completed my transaction, forgetting to add the adapter. I told him I could just pay for it with my Apple account using the Apple Store app on my phone and I talk to him about how weird it is to just buy something on my phone and then walk out of the store with it without having to talk to anyone or show anyone my receipt. We both joke about people trying to steal stuff, and he assures me that every employee has a dashboard of some sort that shows what is being purchased in real time and if they see someone trying to walk out with an item not on that list, they stop them.

I get everything bagged up and I leave the store, only to find out on my way out to my car that I hadn't actually paid for the adapter. I scanned the bar code but I didn't actually complete the transaction. Luckily, I was able to complete the transaction from where I was standing, but still, I find it somewhat comical considering I had just talked about something like that happening.

God, I sound like such an Apple shill.

I humbly admit never having read much SF, and recently decided to change that. Ergo, I just bought The Foundation Trilogy, A Fire Upon The Deep, Rainbows End, and Ender's Game. That should keep me satisfied for, I don't know, a few weeks. :D

I wish there was a way of telling Spotify I hate a band, and that I never want them to show up in my radio selections.

I mean, there's thumbs down, but it doesn't seem to work. I went to the radio of maroon 5 and one direction, spent a long time skipping forward and thumbs downing all of their stupid songs, and their bullshit still keep popping up.

I think the rules depend on the state. California always requires a background check, if I recall correctly.
