Fq: How is 'boolean' pronounced?

Boo-lee-ahn?
Boo-lee-an?
Boo-lee'in?
Bool-ee-ahn?
Bool-ee-an?
Bool-ee'in?
etc.

There are so many ways to pronounce that it is not funny.

Reading over my shell scripts, they look like Dick and Jane books.

See Jane. See Jane run. Run, Jane, run.

Sigh. I need more practice.

I thought the point of that question was that dead sheep are still sheep. If it had said, "all but fifteen mysteriously disappear/transform into velociraptors/spontaneously combust," I would agree with you.

Time travel is a cheap whore. Theoretically, at least in the literary world, you're damned if you do and damned if you dont. Option 1: the past is fixed, and therefore the future is fixed. The amount of money you dont have today is because, even if you went back in time to change that, something happened and you STILL didnt get the money. Option 2: Time is changeable - had he thought of going back to make that money his present self would already have it, so the point is moot and the post never would have been made.

unless he's just trying to throw us off

*edit* i guess option 2 is only valid in that sense if time is multilinear as well. there is that third option of being able to change the future by changing the past without your present self already knowing the outcome... bah. time travel. So. Cheap.

There are certain things that I bring with me everywhere I go, but of course, the time when they would actually be particularly useful just so happens to be one of the one or two times a month that I don't bring it.
Example: I wear my black corduroy jacket everywhere (which is fun in Florida...there seem to be less days that I wear it during the summer...) because it has pockets with pretty much everything I own in them. A couple times a month, I'll leave it at home; of course, these are the TWO DAYS when it's actually COLD in Florida.
Today is one of those days.
I bring my guitar everywhere to play because I like playing and it's good to get practice, but it's particularly convenient if I've got a large amount o f time to spend playing it. Of course, the two days a month when I don't bring it are when I end up in school way early or staying way late.
Today is one of those days.
But hey, at least I brought my phone, so I know nobody will call me today =D

Not sure if you can actually use it as a verb like that. I believe you can only say that something is flawed, meaning that something has an error/mistake somewhere.

I think I sometimes posses intermittent thinking lapses when I'm focused on particular things. Maybe I just get distracted too easily at times. For instance, I just got up and I'm hungry but I keep checking threads and not allowing myself to eat some Cinnamon Life and watch the Oblongs. I'll remember and forget ,then remember and forget.

Usually flaw is used to describe something that was in error before you really even got started..

Like, flaws in glass may occur if air bubbles get trapped inside when that's not what you were going for. If you use spoiled eggs in a cake, the cake is flawed. A design flaw is something that (usually unforseen) causes a disaster in the ..thing that was designed. Like a design flaw in a bridge that causes it to collapse under the weight of a single car with poor weight distribution even though it's handled plenty of cars before.

I'm not saying it'll explain WHY I'm saying that, but it'll explain what that thing I said means. Usually.

Except when it doesn't.

Who the hell decided it would be a smart idea to eliminate knobs and handles on kitchen cupboards, and why did he think that made sense?
I mean, really.

Also, why do all the cupboards I only use about twice a year have hinges on the opposite side of where all the other cupboards have them?
It makes no sense.
