I am confused - my old account, which is banned, says I last logged on with that one on Wednesday the 26th of this month, but I've been banned from that one since January of this year. I blame cross-dimensional happenings.

:O I blame hackers/Obama/those guys from Live Free or Die Hard/Bush/the government/Stan/the government/9-11/Iraq/Al Queda/cookies/kittens/the government/a conspiracy/conspiracy theorists.

On another note, one of my AIM accounts somehow disappeared by unlinking itself and a corrupted or, more likely, changed password. Odd.

I seem to procrastinate a LOT. Like, right now, I should be preparing for an in-class essay in AP US history, but I'm not. I'm watching YouTube commentary on WC3, posting on this fora, looking at facebook, etc...

I now have a hilarious image of the Ban Thread Few , with an over-played camoninja going "But guuuuuys! It's no fair! I posted here and got banned! Guuuuuuys! No fair! I even made a new account to post here again to complain about it! <rage quite>"

I hope I play a good part?

I almost did during finals week once to keep me off the forum and focused on studying. But I decided against it, and tried to regulate my forum usage better instead. It worked enough I guess, I passed. But I would have done it knowing I would have been banned for a bit and fine with it. Although actually....I might have, if posted, been in the later section that got permabanned? I don't remember everything that happened, I just remember some drama that was funny as people were complaining they got banned because they posted in that thread.

Rigorous scientific testing is still necessary, just because something appears logical doesn't mean we can't question it/seek to prove it.

I think he's saying it's redundant because the title, the subtitle, and the first paragraph all say basically the same thing:

Low self-esteem leads to obesity

Children with self-esteem problems are more likely to be obese as adults, a research team has found.

A study of 6,500 participants in the 1970 British Birth Cohort Study found that 10-year-olds with lower self esteem tended to be fatter as adults.

That, and the entire subject matter. I'm not saying it shouldn't be scientifically studied, but in the same way that "Why is the sky blue?" was studied. Everyone KNEW it was blue, but now we have equations to explain it.

I'm going to be doing readings of Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Bells" and I was wondering, he uses the word "alarum". Is it meant to be pronounced the same way as I'd say "alarm", or would it be three syllables?
