If your personality had a flavour...

Postby PythonNewb » Sun Sep 16, 2007 3:22 pm UTC

What would it be?

In my case, it would probably taste of vanilla. You don't want to have too much of it, to be sure, a little bit goes a long way. However, I don't like the connotation of blandness.

To me vanilla is perfectly fine, just like my own personality... niceness somehow connotes blandness and naivete, however I would hate to think so, if only because I'm a rather nice person and think we need more niceness in the world... but I digress.

What would yours be?

Peanut brittle (ice cream).

A delicious personality, with some soft and creamy bits, interspersed with occasional hard spots.

Very different from most, and slightly nutty.

I think the connotation of vanilla being bland is because it's the most common flavour when it comes to ice cream. In its own right vanilla has quite a rich taste.

NO WAY, I USED TO DO THAT ALL THE TIME WHEN I WAS A TODDLER. This means something!

If not some mysterious connection, then just the fact that I had a very messed up toddlerhood. More stories that I probably won't share unless someone's very curious.

I'd probably be chocolate, under one of those fancy names. I'm not even sure why, but I let my subconcious decide - I figure it knows best.

Whoa. We could order ice cream cones stacked with our favorite forum members. How awesome is that? Then again, any more than two scoops is a lot, so I'd probably end up sampling everything.
Okay

Ice cream: I would be one of those flavours which looks and sounds like the strangest possible combination of tastes, and which most people wouldn't even try because it was too outlandish. But for those few people brave enough to give it a shot, it would be really fucking awesome in a completely different/unconventional way.

I have a hard time thinking about my own personality. I'm me.

Someone did describe me as a cereal once, and I was dubbed Wheatloop, a combination of Wheaties and FrootLoops. Nutritious and Delicious!

I would be nutmeg. Great in small quantities but too much and it might just kill you, and the amount it takes to kill is smaller in children, perfectly fitting for me.

pumpkin (like pie) a little spicy, but sweet, good in small doses, kind of a dark flavor without being as rich as chocolate or something like that. that is what i think. i will confer with Jeff and see what his answer is. He'd know. i'm a horrible judge of personality, my own included

nutmeg is outright poison if ingested in large quantities (and by large, 2 or 3 nuts should do.

Or at least my mouth does right now.

Either way, I'd probably be something spicy, and savory.

It's enjoyed by many, goes mouldy easily, and gives people nightmares. Which sums me up quite nicely!

i think i'd taste spastic, in a childlike way. Something like Cinnamon Toast Crunch with apple juice. or cottage cheese with chocolate chips (which is quite good). Or homey, like mac-n-cheese or cornbread. Yum.

Violet. Because it sounds so interesting and different, and it is, but after you get used to it it's just kind of like berries. I try (and often succeed, in my opinion) at being unique and different, and I am, but I am also quite predictable once you know me well. Some people also like me more than others.
