High: the teacher lecturing in Biology, and me feeling smart because I already knew the material (even though it's because I studied ahead)
Low: My English teacher giving us a tough quiz on a poem, followed by a huge poem that we had to write an essay on...that was worth 100 points... and that we only had about 20 minutes to write the essay after the first quiz. (We would have had 10 or so more minutes, but he always comes late because the period before our class is his lunch break.) I'm still in a bad mood because of it, and it was around 5 hours ago.

Southern Arizona; Sonoran desert... in a suburb just north of Tucson. This video/slidshow has a few shots of various agave (we have >30... to many! anybody want some?). The very first photo has a large agave in the center at 00:09 (that plant is as tall as I am, 65"), then another agave at 00:32... and yet another few at 00:46 along with a javeli (collared pecary) wild boar... etc. Lots of critters out here. 01:42 is an excellent photo of an agave with pups (they propagate underground by root-runners).

(I'm driving that huge lorry tractor - you can't see me, though.)

High: I tried a strange new way of washing my hair this morning, with an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse, and my hair seems to love it.

Low: Unfortunately, I don't think i washed it out enough, as my hair vaguely smells of vinegar. Dammit.

High Point of the Day: I sprinkled a lot of vinegar on to my chips (fries, to non Anglophiles)

Low Point of the Day: My hair, also, now smells of vinegar.

Medium Point of the Day: "Coordination 101" Class begins in one hour!

Wow, Felstaff...you must apply vinegar to your chips very vigarously. Do you temporarily blind passerbys by your vinegar shower?

Another Relatively High Point: I have assembled an epic looking sandwich which fills me with awe. Tasty, drooling awe.

Another 'Not Really Low, But Let's Mention It Anyway' Point: I fancy fish & chips instead.

I tend to pick up the bottle with my teeth and shake like a rabid dog with a chew toy. It ensures even distribution over the chips (fries). And also anything else within an 11 foot radius.

High: New books. I enjoy books.

Low: Being nagged by various people. Am I just a very naggable person or something?

(Random thought: "Nagged" sounds like some kind of foreign slang to me. Why is that a hilarious word?)

Low: Worked 8 hours (9-5), then on the bikeride home decided to take the longer route through the country (~8km as opposed to 2km). About 1/4 of the way home, my back tire spontaneously went flat. So I had to walk home. Then my feet started hurting (this was after 8 hours of standing up after all, plus my feet don't cooperate with shoes in the first place). So I took my shoes and socks off and walked barefoot for a while, except then my feet started freezing (it was just barely above freezing, plus the sidewalks were all wet). So I stopped to put my shoes back on. While doing so, my bike toppled over into the mud. I walked the rest of the way home, my feet still hurting.

High: Getting home and seeing a note from my mom (my parents left for a wedding earlier today) about there being a fresh pizza in the fridge. That, and seeing Reeses peanut butter cups on the counter.

Doesn't sound like much, but it was enough to keep me sane.

High: Today seems to be one those days where everything goes right. I've honest-to-God had a damn good day. Life should be like this more often. A major factor in the above is the fact that my Spanish Assistant lesson was canceled. Said lesson consists of a hot Spanish woman talking to me in Spanish and me not understanding much and feeling like a complete idiot, even though I'm pretty good at it. It's the lowlight of my fortnight and to dodge it for another one always makes me feel good. Also, my physics lesson was fairly good and laid back (not that it isn't usually) and afterwards got to walk and talk for a while with the girl I like (we don't usually get left alone). After that, walked home with other friends which I should do more often - usually I walk home alone.
Low: The creative writing coursework piece I was looking forward to for English - turns out I have to base it around the World Lit. books we've been reading, most of which I greatly dislike. I might try and mix it up and do like a re-imagining of the story in a sci-fi setting or something, but that's a bit of a long shot.

Though to be honest, that isn't a very low low, but is still the lowest low I had all day which attests to how great a day I had.

High: Much more of a highly detailed prank to be committed in two week's time was completed today. Only about 40% more to go, and while that's still a lot, it's still great fun.
