That place is located in Rahja, Finland. I can`t give exact cordinates, because I don`t know them.

Yesterday's high: Mario Kart Wii is an addictively fun game and I heartily approve of it. Even/especially because of the Wii Wheel.
Yesterday's low: I tried to trade in San Andreas, but they wouldn't let me sell it back because apparently, it is Hot Coffee-able and therefore AO.

Today's high: Finishing my take home exams and never having to see another particular professor again if I can help it.
Today's low: Finishing my take home exams at 4 in the morning. And then feeling I had to come here and announce it.

you know... given the future tense, it doesn't seem like it is unexpected at time of writing, or at the time the event will take place.

I define my day as [midnight, 24 hours past midnight). As a non-compact interval, no function of how well my day went is guaranteed to assume a maximum or minimum value.

The "high" point of my day is that I saw Iron Man at like 1030pm thursday.

A lower point is that I haven't slept since 640am Thursday and I am currently at work.

The lowest point is that I haven't slept because I was called by a very close friend last night before I could go to sleep. I picked up the phone and she was crying because she was terrified that she was driving home drunk. She wanted me to stay on the phone with her until she got home but she was worried because she had very little battery power left. I told her that the first thing she should do is to pull over and try to sleep it off, especially if the phone died. She didn't seem keen on that idea. Anyhow, she was semi lost and then her phone died. That was 9-10 hours ago, her phone is still off and I have no idea if she is ok. I am worried sick and terrified that something bad may have happened but I have no way of finding out. I don't know any of her friends or her family and she lives in a different state.

Edit: Just heard from her, all is well.

driving drunk and on the cell? That's just asking for a wreck. It's great that she's okay though, I'm relieved.

High: Doing no work today.
Low: attending a Catholic mass that inexcusably went twenty minutes longer than anticipated, and I have to go again tomorrow.

High: We bought a paddling pool! You'd be amazed how much fun you can have with a paddling pool. Given that a dozen of us chipped in it was only a couple of quid each, and we could fit 5 guys in it without much of a problem. Awesome!
