High point - Finishing my math homework

Low point - Realizing I now have another math assignment, two physics assignments, three labs and an essay to do before I can watch Stargate. I'm never gunna see another Stargate again :(

Ooh! Another high point! The physics website is down, so I only have math, two labs, and the essay to do! I might just get to see Stargate afterall!

The worst part of this post is that my life is exactly how this post makes it look. Do homework, watch stargate, talk to my boyfriend while doing homework and watching Stargate.

High point: Doing what I needed and going out.

Low point: Not doing what I needed and staying inside.

I stayed asleep and missed school, I got up and went to gym. I went out to a jazz bar, I stayed inside my mind.

High: ahhh! *squee* Remember the whole Watergate exposure thing with "Deep Throat", the anonymous tipster? heehee *happy* Welll. As a reporter on the school paper [freaking awesome school paper! Only in the surrounding districts to do in house printing and put out a weekly! *happy dances* ] the concept of anonymous tipsters to help uncover a huge story is like. ohmigawd-squee-epic-to the-max. Heehee, annnnnnd guess what? WE HAVE OUR VERY FREAKING OWN DEEP THROAT! *screams and happy dances more* Like.. this is AMAZING. The coolest thing ever. When we got the anonymous note, the class became abuzz and everyone got all excited and yay! heehee. Pretty big thing they're telling us to look into as well, something we attempted uncovering earlier this year, but were only led to dead ends. Now we know for sure it goes somewhere, but we just aren't sure where... But we were told the truth would shock us all... soo *squee* haha. I've been so freaking happy all day.

(Yesterday)
Low: didn't drag my ass out of bed for class.
High: did a decent job at work.
High: found out my boss isn't thinking of firing me (He was just busy, it was in my head.)
Low: I was supposed to go with friend and friend's friend to movies on halloween. friend's friend's parents* don't like me. I figured this means that I wouldn't get to go to movies.
V. High: Instead, that means that friend and I get to drive by ourselves, while friend's friend (and parents) are going in their car.
*... did I miss an apostrophe?
High/Low: stayed up too late talking to friend.
(Today)
Low: didn't drag my ass out of bed for (first) class.
High: Class (that i did go to) went well.
Meh: Teacher bugging me about not giving a shit; but doing absolutely nothing to motivate me. (She's the teacher for three of my classes. I only give a shit about one, and it's the activity I care about, not the grade.)
High: Got myself a new mp3 player; treating myself to start running. (low: rewarding yourself before doing anything? bad kriel.)
High: the ItG machine likes this (very cheap) flashdrive i picked up.
Low: Having to manually re-tag a significant chunk of my music collection.

Low: I failed miserably at my monologue in my audition, and I got ANOTHER 50-ish% on ANOTHER fucking chem test...what the hell! I'm doing the homework and getting 100's!! I should not be failing the tests...

High - Get a shirt in the mail that has on it " I<3 3.141592" because I honestly love baked goods with fruit filling and numbers.
Higher - Get crap from family members who see if for truncating instead of rounding pi. God I love my dorky family
Low - none yet.

Low: interesting Girl wasn't at school today.

High: Got invited to another class's party.
.....Low: I ate too many cookies  (want to puke face)
Low: I think I did terribly on a Japanese test.
High: "Sir, maybe if we dropped all this gold..."

Not so much a specific party as going out at all. And I am not going out due to my lack of a girlfriend, and lack of friends that want to go out to a bar with me - or to be more succinct, I am staying home due to my lack of friends.

High- Booking my ticket to London for the end of November.

Low- Working on this school computer. However, if you refresh and try again, it works much faster than waiting for an error message.

Racquetball is a great game and workout, I have played most of my life. A good Racquet makes a big difference, and by good I mean mid or oversized with a good grip.

Today:

Low - supermassive comedown from too many chemicals on the weekend

Low - hardcore anxiety and stress during a job interview this morning

High - job interview completed and seemed to go okay.

Low - second job interview this afternoon.

High - tomorrow is a public holiday so no interviews

Low - have to buy stupid perfume for my mum despite only having about five cents to my name at the moment.

~~

For the last month or so since I was last posting regularly:

High - quit my job

Low - still looking for work

High - met a girl, started dating

Low - dumped her after six weeks because she was boring as batshit

High - started going clubbing and partying more regularly, found a connection again

Low - realised that I hate most of the goths in Melbourne and am seriously out-of-place in just about every social scene

Low: Waking up 10 minutes late for work and finding the Ubuntu 8.10 upgrade made my computer unable to boot.

High: 98% on a math test. I lost one point on the whole test for not labelling axes. <_< (X is horizontal, Y is vertical, isn't that implied? Oh well.)

High: woot! Voted. Not a long line, either, since most folks had already done it (I didn't early vote due to long wait times).

Low: realizing that the with possibly buggy Diebold boxes, under-the-table money moving, my state being winner-take-all (why I really didn't care in 2004), and neither candidate being anywhere close to in touch regarding the economy, nor health care, and that it was impossible for me to vote in my own self-interest, or for improving our nation's health, and moving it in a good direction, that voting was a highly irrational action.
