Hey guys, plans to get materials for making postcards has... fallen through. If nobody minds their postcard being paper-glued-onto-scrap-cardboard, I'll start making them. Yay for reusing! XD

Ideas I've got for the art side:
* "WARNING: Velociraptors" road sign
* sea kitten/landfish
* burning cheese
I'll take requests, too!

PM me if you're interested! (US citizens preferred, but I suppose international postage would be worth the oh-cool-international-mail! factor.)
...It made more sense in my head.

I think that this'd be neat, mainly because I never get to send mail.
And I love to make postcards, usually of thickish tagboard with more paper on and drawings or patterns or even once- a circuit!

The circuit was hard to get it to go all flat.

So I throw my hat into the crowded ring.

Also, a side comment: Is the postage for a postcard the same regardless of destination?

I've been pretty inactive here lately, but I'd like to join in on this as well. I've never written or recieved a proper lettter/postcard so either would be cool.
Will be sending from Sweden to, well, anywhere.

All my postcards have been posted. I have one request in my inbox, which I haven't forgotten about, I just need to sort out what to send-may have to make one for them...
EDIT: I got my postcard from She today :D

I know it's been absolutely *ages* but I'm still up for sending some postcards. I don't have any wickedly cool ones or anything -- I can send out some of the NYC skyline, a postcard of a geisha, or a postcard of the serenity/firefly crew. If you want some, hit me up!

Unfortunately, I am so not creative enough to actually make postcards. :(

Hey guys, I feel really bad about this, but I don't think I'll be able to send any postcards until late May or early June. I've gotten behind on homework (unrelated to the exchange), and have been trying to get it done before midterm, which is two days away. So, no more postcards untill either June or my next post. Everyone who sent me a PM will get their postcard within the next week.

I'm really glad to hear that you're not mad. I'm discussing postage rates with my mom right now. Apparently a postcard and a letter have the same international rates. Huh. Also, it seems that it's just my post office that's obssesive about all capitals. It's not needed. :roll:

BTW, when did you get a title?

Got a babby goat from SOSkanesumi ARK, sent out a clever raptor.

After this week of a crapload of assignments and other insanity, I'll be ready for round two of postcards. Finally found my Prismacolors, so the art will look nicer than if I scribbled with color pencils.
PM if you're interested!

Of course! Baby = +20 cute points, goat = +5 weird-yet-awesome points. Therefore... um... I don't know how to add this up. But it's a likable number!

My mom saw the postcard and got utterly confused, and the postcard became much more entertaining. I put it on my wall. :D

I've made some (I think somewhere near 20 in total) postcards. They are stiff paper the same size as an official postcard.
I will post here again as soon as I get postage. I may ride my bike over to the post office this weekend.
So.
They all have strange drawings on them, strange enough to lead some lucky recipients to question my sanity. They're either manila or dark green, and I think most of them are both.
I do believe it's 27 cents for postcards in the US, yes?

I was just at the store and found a bunch of mountain-y postcards.

So if anyone wants a postcard from a pretty boring place with some pretty neat mountains.... I'll join in on the fun.

Huh. This topic has been dead for two months. Time to revive it!
Well, I'm pretty much up for receiving any type of postcard (even wheatfields), and if you want an unoriginal postcard from Denver (think pictures of the Rocky Mountains), I'm up for an exchange.
Write anything, I have no preference. Though I do like the idea of a Post-Secret style postcard.
