Agreed. The other night, I had to stick around at work waiting for a release build to complete so that I could do some testing, and the forums were just plain dead. I had to think of other things to do, like finding non-flash internet based games to run on my computer at work...
Odds are I did well on my probability exam.

I can just imagine what it would have been like before the internet. People standing in front of a notice board, waiting for someone to come along and pin something up.

Like this, maybe.

The Wisdom of Harvey Danger teaches us "if you're bored then you're boring"

I believe this calls for meditation.

Chant your personal mantra and focus on becoming one with boredom. Allow it to pass over you, become you and ultimately you become it, mastering boredom and gaining the ability to summon and dismiss it at a whim.

We are starting to get close to having to default to sexual experimentation...

Whenever I get bored, I masturbate, then take a nap.

Highly recommended.

Nothing to do? Nothing to do?
Put some mustard in your shoe,
Fill your pockets full of soot,
Drive a nail into your foot,
Put some sugar in your hair,
Place your toys upon the stair,
Smear some jelly on the latch,
Eat some mud and strike a match...

...Or if you find the forums so inutterably boring, you know, run around starting pointless threads about how boring it is.

Lock'd.
