Ain't nothin' wrong with a lil country ya'll!
Here's a new target for you: I enjoy most anything, be it country, classical, whiny stuff, jazz, 30's swing/flapper music (Bunny Berigan, woot!), hell, I even like oom-pah... but hip-hop trumps them all, by far. Surely, if there's one thing that'll get folks off of country-hating, it's hearing about someone who <gasp!> doesn't hate hip-hop.

Pokin' around the net, seems there are more instances of y'all than ya'll, so I'll admit that you're right... but the number of ya'lls (ya'll's?) on websites of major stores and various reference materials is significant enough that I don't feel all too put out.

Because it's not likely to go away anytime soon. Stickies are for threads that are important, but low traffic. Announcements are for threads that shouldn't really even move, but need to be read.

That's probably why. Since it gets replied to so much, it'll always be on the front page. It doesn't need to be stickied.

I knew I was going to be AWOL from the forums for a while due to moving and not having internet, but I stopped posting early because I wanted to leave my postcount at 314. Of course no one notices your postcount when not posting, so this whole post is basically a cry for attention. Also a microcosm of the entire thread.

Yes, nobody will ever respect you now that number below your name is stuck in triple digits, especially at such an unremarkable number the Holy Roman Empire was formed in 962, that's remarkable enough.

Confession: I graduate tomorrow with a degree in a field I realized I hate and no idea what I'll do or where I'll go in three months if the one solid future I have lined up falls through. It is... uncomfortable.
Confession 2: I'm also a bit paranoid about what I post here, now, since there was a section on my background packet about internet communities I am a part of. I'm guessing they mainly wanted to see if I was a member of a "bad" community and won't dig too deep here, but still. I can't help but worry that some benign remark will seem bad out of context and could cost me my best hope for a solid future. P.S. - Don't quote or "Large Textify" this please. It is rather important that only people used to reading small text on this forum notice this...
Confession which isn't really a confession: I actually read the 7 pages posted here while I was in Seattle/too busy with finals to browse the fora. I now know Luna's pain of reading conversations that have finished and moved on by the time you get around to them intimately.

The hyped-up numerical (so-called) "bad boy"? Laaaaaame. It was probably just gematria for Neron (i.e. Nero Caesar).[1] There are so many waaaay more interesting and awesome numbers.
1. It is assumed by many biblical scholars to refer to Emperor Nero. The number is arrived at by presenting Nero's name in Greek (Kaisar Neron) and transforming it into Hebrew whose letters also have a numeric value. The Hebrew letters would be q=60, s=100, r=200,n=50,w=6. (Wikipedia)
