Fess: I might of done something possibly wrong, and I feel sort of bad about it, but not really because of the persons, I think, knee-jerk sort of response.

Now of course this will have to be slightly out of context, but hopefully its enough. The rest in a spoiler cause it's sort of long and some people might not care (:

Edit: Never mind. She apologized and made up for it before I even responded to her. You can still comment on the situation if you want I guess.
Spoiler:
Alright this first quote is from a friend of mine responding to a message I sent her.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you don't move or anything, I think you're a great person no matter what sexual orientation you may be. Shae (spelling? I don't know either), I really think she doesn't mean what she says, young adults are not on a mature psychological level to distinguish when they are saying inappropriate things that can hurt someone's feelings especially in a contexts of sexuality. She also told me and I quote " I can be a bit of a bitch sometimes" thus the inappropriate behavior. This doesn't mean I think of her as crude ( I love the girl) but she says things without regarding them.

She also didn't know that you where a transgender. And if she didn't hear you or forgot I recommend telling her again so she can rethink what she's saying next time.
This is in the same context when you wrote me thinking that I hated transvesties because of my "cosplay video", on the contrary, I love people that have unique sexualities (Remember I'm Bi). So I bet she would love you too regardless of who you may be.

People don't mean what they say, they just need to know you a little bit better.

And I'm sorry about your parents being all protective and authoritarian and stuff. I guess they're just concern, but if things get out of hand I would like it if you can call me so you can have another person, asides from your psychologist, you can talk to.

my number is [Phone number removed]
Call it whenever you need me

Hugs and Snuggles

And this is my (apperantly bad) response,
Um. I didn't mean to imply that Shae was being mean on purpose or anything, or that I like her less because of her comment. It just had bad timing I guess.

I find it mean of you to bring up that "young adults are not on a mature psychological level to distinguish when they are saying inappropriate things that can hurt someone's feelings..." It has nothing to do with being young at all. You can't do anything without seeing someone, regardless of age, being sexist or racist or ageist or ableist or classist, etc (you could go on for a long time). And remember, I'm younger then her by quite a bit :x [thats colon, followed by x, xkcd makes it a face sadly, and an angry one too]

I have only three other things to mention, I can't quite put why, but listen to the difference between;

"Your bisexual" and
"Your a bisexual"

Not the biggest deal in the world, the latter just has unnerving connotations of trying to other someone.

The other thing is transvestite is a very loaded word and almost never used correctly, see wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transvestite . Especially because of the use of the term in the porn industry. And because it implies that people who are transgender are doing so for sexual reasons or that they are cross-dressers.

An further more for the last little thing, gender identity has nothing to do with sexuality and/or sexual orientation.

-----

Sorry to get on the correctness train after you offered hugs and snuggles. I do appreciate it. <3

And uh... this is what I got back
I wasn't insulting you at all. I don't know why you're attacking me, I was just stating my opinion and trying to help, that's all. Now I feel like I should never give you advice for anything, because I'm a total idiot.

Umm... yeah.

Did I do something wrong here? x.x; I mean I would prefer if people called me out on things they find inappropriate/privileged/etc. *shrugs* God damn, class is going to be weird Monday if this doesn't get resolved >>

Regardless of if I was wrong or not, how do I even respond to this? x.x

For some reason I can't figure out, when some guy (who is, inadvertently, kind of annoying) asked me if the professor allowed a note-sheet for the test tomorrow, I said I didn't know, even though I knew for sure a note sheet was allowed. And, dammit, whenever I say that people think I mean "no." I hope he didn't take my word for it. :(

Maybe now I can focus on studying...

Confession: the idea that virginity has any bearing on anyone's fate is beyond distasteful to me. Virginity is an intangible and arbitrary idea. Also it's dumb. But that's just my opinion.

Also: I have had McDonald's food three times this week. This might make me a bad person.

Virginity should only matter as much as.. I don't know.. whether or not you've ever eaten any Indian food, or whether or not you've gone camping.

No, virginity indicates whether or not one has had penetrative vaginal intercourse, as far as I can tell. I know people who've not done that, and are decidedly experienced, as well as those who've had plenty of vaginal intercourse, but are so vanilla that I would never describe them as 'experienced'.

Or he could have sex with his room-mate, then everybody would be happy and nobody would be lonely.

*joins the sad group of people who are having no sex*

My roomie, whom I greatly like, has her boyfriend over tonight and tomorrow night. As she is a very honest and emotionally open girl, in our suite this week there have been frequent woeful outbursts of "TWO MONTHS!" which refer to when they last had some sexytiems. I'm trying to get out of the house for tomorrow night; we'll see. Also, she now thinks I'm a prude (only without the negative connotations) because I expressed discomfort at the idea of him spending the night in the room, and I couldn't quite get across that the problem isn't "boy with girl in the room where I'm sleeping," but rather "boy in the room where I'm sleeping."

I think you should tell your roommate to stop having sex in your bed. Also, finding a new roommate seems like a good idea.

I would love to find someone to have the regular sexings with.

I hate asking people to do things, eben if it's something they're SUPPOSED to do.

Like the guy downstairs in the coffee shop- I went downstairs to get a drink but he was having a cigarette, and I didn't want ti ask him to go back in and make me something =[

Well, we share a single room. He did have sex on the couch where I sleep, but I've had sex on his bed when he's not around. That's not really the part that bothers me.

I'm not mad at my roommate as much as frustrated by the situation in general. It's just a very concrete reminder that I'm missing out on the human experience.

I would love to find someone to have the regular sexings with.
At the moment, I really just want someone to sleep with. The sex I could really care less about (at least at the moment).

Seconded. I've started curling up around my blanket at night, it feels pathetic. (Isn't this drifting slightly towards LSR?)

(spoiler'd for lengthy talking-to-myself)
Spoiler:
Now for the reason I made this post..
Fess: I am so fucked. I know I'm horrible with money. I know I've already borrowed more than my fair share, I know I suck at money, I know I'm going to be in a financial hellhole for quite a few years once I get out of school. But I'm running the numbers, and they're saying I've only got about 3 months left before things start bouncing. I can either break this lease (Costing me an extra months rent to do it without f*cking up my renting history), Find a roommate (tried once. 6 months later, he still didn't have a job. why the fuck I waited 6m? Who knows..), or go and borrow yet ANOTHER student loan at the start of the new year.

/sigh..

... or i could drop college; and get my CCNA... I mean; I've already earned my associates... but it's only another year or so till I get my bachelors (Dec 09)
... or I could both pop my lease and get my CCNA (while still staying in college)... that'd be the best solution; but I don't know if my mind could handle it; I'd have to pop my lease NOW for it to be effective; and I don't know if I could keep it together with moving into my buddy's basement, all the other shit going on this quarter, AND cramming for my CCNA..

... Finding an Apt closer to school could theoretically save me ~200 a month (how much I spend on gas) except the rent would still be higher (400ish if I go to a shithole) and I don't take care of my apt as-is..

Confession the First (Confezzione I): I didn't follow kriel's spoiler. Because I fail money forever.

Confession the Second (Confezzione II): I can't sleep because I don't know what's going on. Why does this bother me all of a sudden? I mean, I never know what's going on anyway, it's just more obviously about me this time. Regardless, insomniac I_D is not happy I_D.

Aside: Isn't this the first time I've actually used I_D in self reference, as opposed to explaining my name?

Confession the Third (Confezzione III): I'm starting to think political awareness is bad for me. I worry a lot more than I used to.

@Felltir: Err?

Confession 1:
I think I'm hyposomnic.
Conession 2:
Stop talking about sex. I hate that. I hate that. You guys are making me jealous in that I can't even kiss one of those girly things.
Confession 3:
There is a girl I met online from the other side of the country whom I talk to like 4 or 5 hours each time. She gave me her phone number, but I'm too afraid to call her cuz I talk funny.

Well if she's a decent person she won't CARE how you talk.
You need to stop worrying so much. I mean it. You are amazing, kind, sweet, and adorable..you have nothing to worry about. Any girl would be lucky to have you. I know it's hard to find courage sometimes but honestly, I doubt she'll care about how you talk.
Life is beautiful.
