Really? We don't even get put on maps? People think that little of us? Question mark? Maybe we should invade the US, that would make them acknowledge us.

Although, are you sure you didn't just miss us? We are a small country, so you may have overlooked. We're squished up between Prussia and Siam.

And Torvaun wins. Congratulations.

Ok. I'll give some more detailed instructions. Assume you are starting in Czechoslovakia. Travel 800 miles South until you hit Rhodesia. 1000 kilometres to the West is Istanbul, capital of the Ottoman Empire. From there, it's a short walk to the wardrobe which is the gateway to Narnia, and then skirt the borders of Zanzibar and you're there.

Mr. Orange has discovered the truth. We must dispose of him.

In all seriousness though, this is something that is true of everyone, it's just we usually take the time to create a point for ourselves, or have it provided by someone else.

Of course you have no point. You're an orange.

[/smartass]

I'd just like to point out that none of the rest of us really have a point either (as far as I know). So, hey, if you're just stumbling around in the dark, you're in quite good company. At least around here.

edit: I have been struck by an insignificant ninja! True; we make our own point... but is that just pretending to have a point? 'Cause I'm not much good at that. Anyway, I'm almost used to pointlessness by now.

Confession: I had an idea today that I am not certain is stupid or clever or just in between. Or just mildly insane. That's possible too.

So I think it arose because of the posts here recently on the subject of Facebook/Myspace stalking (or whatever it is). Anyway, I remembered I have a Facebook page. Not much of one, but it's there. The picture is utter crap, and I have all of five friends, one of whom is my sister, but anyway; Facebook. I has it.

Random thought was this: Grab my HS yearbooks, go through, find everybody I recall knowing. Seek them out on Facebook, poke them (and maybe send some kind of message just explaining that I am bored and poky) and see how many remember me and respond.

Now I must decide if this would be wise. Also I have to decide if I care about what I decided first, or if my boredom with my lack of social life overrules my reclusiveness. (Reclusivity?)

Confession: After this thought, I made a small bet with myself on how many would remember. Currently I am considering something between 20-30% percent likely. If not lower.

Thoughts, anyone? Or just mockery and amusement at my expense, whatever. 'Swhat I'm here for.

Go for it, ill be taking all bets on percentages, i've got a 30:1 on anything over 80%!

There will be a small cover charge and a percentage of all winnings will be donated to the "Moneyz for Zak" charity.

I'll take that bet! Here's $300 over 80%.

I'd do it. You might make a new friend, or meet up with an old one, or inadvertently remind that creepy guy that tried to feel you up at your senior prom that you're still alive.

Mkay, so my creepy Facebook stalking update.
my message
Spoiler:
Did you go to *name of school*? If so, was Ms. Shultz your third grade teacher?
I know that was really random, but I saw *name* and I just had to message you to find out if you are the *name* who did math packets in the hallway with me.

his reply
Spoiler:
OH MY GAH! I TOTALLY REMEMBER YOU!!!!
AAAAHHH!
Yeah. That was me.
I seem to recall you and I being the smartest 3rd graders in the school.
What can we say, we're brilliant.
Yeah.
Ms. Shultz.
What a year.
Ha.
How are you doing?!

Confession: This made my week, if not my month. I've thought about this guy at random points throughout my life, and I'm really glad he remembers me.
Also, I always assumed he'd grow up to be gay. So I wonder if he is... but I don't wanna ask...

Interestingly, I got a message from a girl I knew in high school not long ago asking the same thing (not if I'm gay, that is). I found it amazing that she thought I might not remember her. I'd actually been trying to get in touch with her since I left school.

Confession: I have been Facebook stalking the girl I have a date with on Friday to find out more about her, but I'm not sure if I should tell her that or not. I think it's fairly well accepted that it's usually done now though...
