I change my wallpaper fairly regularly, hence the file of potentials.

I'm also fairly minimalist when it comes to the desktop - I like to be able to see my wallpaper. Otherwise what's the point in having one?

Yes, that's an optical illusion as my wallpaper. Experimenting a bit to see how long I can stand it without going crazy. Desktop is horribly cluttered right now, luckily I don't play all of those games right now.

I've got a crapton of "motivational" posters. They are set to a 15 minute timer on my desktop.

The current one is a bit boring...

Mine. That's probably my favourite single Cyanide and Happiness comic, it makes me smile every time I see it.

Note that the icons are carefully arranged around the comic. I do that with all desktop pictures that don't take up the whole screen.

That's just a shortcut to the windows "add or remove programs", because I sometimes want to get rid of all the crap that people have been installing, and hate having to hunt for that in the control panel.

SOMEONE (you know who you are) was singing the Mandelbrot set song, hence wallpaper. It should be noted that I have two monitors, and the image is massive and wide. I'm resizing it, so it doesn't eat the thread whole.

Spoiler'd for fairly sizeable resolution, here's the largely uncluttered desktop as it stands on my recently purchased Dell XPS M1530 laptop I picked up for university next week. As you can see, program installation on it is fairly minimal, I essentially just picked up a stream of essential items to get started with - Steam, Winamp, WoW etc. Haven't configured Google Desktop Toolbar much either.

The desktop background is taken from a webcomic "Exterminatus Now", blending Sonic the Hedgehog universe-esque creatures with a science-fiction inquisition setting on planet "Mobius" [Taken from this strip http://exterminatusnow.comicgenesis.com/d/20071027.html, referencing earlier episode http://exterminatusnow.comicgenesis.com/d/20031114.html]

Its Mac OSX, actually, Uh, Tiger. The icon set's a custom one I grabbed from somewhere, but I forget where I found it; I've been meaning to track it down again one of these days too, since I ditched the source files and I've got some new apps I want to assign icons to.

Sure, I can get you two versions. The version I got there is a version I edited down to 1440x900 because the bigger version put on "stretch" didn't look good on my desktop, there is also a larger version which I can just link online.

Harumi Fujiyoshi

Another Really Cool One

Also, I actually just recently changed my desktop again... now it's this without any icons on my desktop.

Edit: Well... even if you were paranoid about the NSFW stuff... then it loads in this stupid attachment thing... oh well.

Wow. That site has a lot of good ones. Looks like I'll be busy for awhile.

Edit: Ok. The Lucky Star hentai on that site was a real slap in the face. I expected it from Code Geass but geez.

Ok. Without further ado here is my desktop. Likely to change as I'm looking through an anime site with thousands of backrounds because Gelsamel is out to kill my free time.
