Required response to PR0N:
I am confused of why you feel a need to hide your porn O_o Unless it's weird fetish stuff. Just make the folder hierarchy so that it gets progressively more hardcore/weird as you go farther. Most people will stop at looking around when they see the first bit of nudity. If they keep looking, I am not sure they will complain much.

Just tell the rents, "I collect porn for a hobby. I figure I can make good money from the ads that I can put on my site by linking to all the free porn out there. Also, think of the rickroll potential of taking a porn site and making it ALL rickroll links."

On topic:
I want dropbox so that I can keep my current projects stored somewhere so that I can access them at all times. Easier than setting up a server to do source control for me on all my different machines >.>

Anyway, may I suggest that once someone gets an invite they edit their post to reflect this? That way we won't send doubles?

*Sent* to soapyhobo. And since I kinda feel guilty for starting a potential torrent of spam at banana, I have sent him/her/it an invitation too. :)

By the way, how is Dropbox working out for everyone? I just tried uploading a movie to it, and after a few hours of the movie not being uploaded at all (Dropbox still had 2Gs of space) I gave up... so a kinda disappointing first test for me at least. Others fairing better?

I mostly use it for school stuff, and for that it works just fine. Haven't really tried to upload any large files like movies though. Maybe they're capping the max filesize while it's in beta?

Mine is working out great :)
It's a good way to keep all my Moo & Keo comic files the same between working on the strip on my different machines. It means that when I have a strip idea while at work I can just bang it into the "ideas" text file here and then I don't have to worry about copying it to my usb stick and updating it at home, etc.

I've not had any problems with file sizes so far, the biggest file I've ever put on was a few hundred mb tho.

Surely the wise thing, then, would be to put your files anywhere except the clearly marked Public Folder? Every other file and folder in your account is private by default.
