Just 'regardless' (or even 'without regard'). That's it, no 'ir-' prefix necessary. 'Irregardlessly' is not a word. When I saw this, I legitimately twitched.

Yes, I made up the word in college to make my English major friends twitch. Because two wrongs may not make a right, but they can make life more interesting. However, if I use a word not in the dictionary, then it is a word, and it means exactly what I want it to mean. No more, no less.

The antiunirregardlessliness quotient of that plan is quite incredible.

It's a shame that it sets you off, because it most certainly is a word: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/irregardless.

So is "inflammable" (def: flammable).

from the m-w page:

"Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead."
