Making xkcd slightly worse by predicting that Randall is going to correct todays comic, and posting it here before the edit.

Finally got my non-threatening SW. This should offend no one save for Randall himself. It's based on the original uncorrected comic.

Cool. Two more Time fans. Join us in the OTT. We have Time After Time (as noted) and scrumptious donuts (well, you shouldn't want those), and naked stick figures. 8-)

Nice SW, btw. Um, I mean, it's not dead. Much less dead than, say, #1191. :P

In some sense, Time is more dead than most of the static comics. Anyone can go back to most comics and get a similar experience to someone who saw them when they came out. No one will ever again see that beach scene on xkcd.com, have the experience of realizing that it changes, see it happen in real time while no one, except Randall (and possibly a few others who had talked to him directly), knew what would happen or where the story was going or whether it would even be a story at all.

My thought process when making that xkcdsw was actually something more like "Timeghost... how could I combine this with Time? I know! It's ended, and that's sort of kind of like being dead, so I'll have it be the ghost of Time."
